Excellent product

Food stuck under the rubber and cannot be clean.
It is a great hand blender, but food got under the rubber and they won't replace it. I have to buy another one. I am so disappointed. I called the service number listed...but it's in the states...and now I have to call another place to try again. I am on the Canadian page... that's weird and very disappointing if I have to buy another one. I don't think I will. For the price the warranty is not good enough. I tried to attach a picture, but I am not able to do it.

I purchased this based on reviews and it doesn’t disappoint. It puréed my squash in seconds flat. It’s much more powerful than expected and almost spewed puree all over! I definitely need to use a lower speed. Wonderful blender.

Potential for food poisoning
Food/liquid gets stuck in the shaft. This immersion blender blends beautifully. I used it several times a week since we love soups, sauces and homemade dressing. I always rinse the blender immediately after using it so that it cleans easily. However I recently discovered that when I thought it was clean it was leaking sauce and I realized that food had been getting sucked up in the shaft. There is no way to remove and clean the old foods out of it, I don’t want food poisoning so we stopped using it. The replacement wands are hard to find or expensive nor do I want to spend that much on something that is designed to break again. It looks like there is a silicone ring that essentially break. It needs to be designed better.

Buy a diff one unless you enjoy sticky rubber
Bought a few years ago and the rubber started to degrade within a year. It’s a sticky mess now and you can’t fix it. Pretty upset about that. Also… my clients kitchen “aid” works better. This couldn’t pulverize the spinach like hers did. Literally got stuck in the blades and didn’t break it down. Hers? No issues. I throw this in my personal chef kit bc I don’t like it.

I love this stick blender. I love that the shaft easily detaches, but this has also been its downfall. My shaft comes off in its own sometimes. It is loose. The motor is great.
