[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the cooler, however I HATE the fact that there is no drain valve on this cooler. If it had a drain valve it would be the perfect cooler for me. I think you should make one with a drain valve and replace the one I have now!

I’ve had this cooler for about a year now and it’s been great. We’ve taken it to Bear lake, on camping trips, and more, and I’m always impressed by how long it keeps ice. We typically get at least 3 days of ice retention, and that’s without pre chilling the cooler or anything. Worth every cent

I just bought this cooler as a wedding gift for my cousin and it looks awesome! My wife and I both love the color. I already have a gray 28 quart, but now I want to keep this one for myself!

These are heavy duty coolers that really perform and I love the special edition color ones. We have two in different colors now. This pic is another color combo. I also love the built in bottle opener. You can never have too many coolers, haha! We have 4 different colors and sizes now. We haven't been camping with bears yet but watching the bear videos Lifetime does with their coolers is pretty cool! At least I know the racoons don't stand a chance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these roughly 2 years ago and for my family and vehicle size, it was a great fit. Id even keep it in the house at time close by with some cold ones. The only reason im giving it 3 stars is because the blue clip ended up snapping when so the rubber didn't seat into its groove. It may have been one of my kids tbh. That being said for such a critical component to snap from such a small thing was a big bummer. I truly used that lil guy. I unfortunately did not register back then and am doing so now in hopes to get the support I need in the event something like that happens again. Id love to continue using the brand. Love the form factor and color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love lifetime coolers. the only reason for a 4 is on the 28, they do not put a drain pug on it. My big ones have them but i can not use it on the golf cart. please put one on it and change more for the coolers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this cooler. The two-tone color gives it a clean, modern look, and the design feels very well thought out. One of my favorite features is the locking mechanisms — they feel secure and durable, which is a big plus for me as a parent of small children. It’s reassuring to know they won’t easily be able to get into it, and the added bonus of it being grizzly bear resistant is both impressive and kind of fun. Another standout feature for me is that it’s made in the USA — that matters to me, and I appreciate it when a product proudly supports local manufacturing. The top handle is great and makes it easy to carry, though I do find myself wishing it had handles on the sides as well. That said, it’s compact and lightweight enough that a team carry really isn’t necessary in most situations. As for performance: I loaded it with ice on a Thursday, and it took about five full days before the last of the ice melted. That’s seriously impressive and exceeded my expectations for a cooler this size. Overall, the Lifetime 28 Quart Cooler is sturdy, reliable, and well-designed — a great value for anyone who needs a high-performance cooler in a more compact size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several lifetime coolers in the past and have always been a fan of them. That being said, let me tell you my thoughts on this new one. I love the upgraded handle. On the previous models of the 28 qt cooler the handle had what felt like a cheaper, foam type of material on it for padding. The handle grip on this cooler feels a lot more durable and it's easier to hold. This makes it a lot easier for carrying, especially if what you've got in there is heavy, i.e. beverages. I like that the bottom is narrower than it is on the top, so it's easy to fit into a wagon if you want to pull it around rather than carrying it. Also, the top was large enough for me to fit in a full vegetable tray comfortably. I also really like the color of this model. I love that this cooler was made in the USA. I took this to cooler to my son's double header on a 92° afternoon where it sat in the sun for about 6 hours. After those 6 hours of exposure to the sun, plus the hour-long drive to and from his game, there was some melting of the ice inside, but for the most part most of the ice was still frozen and all of the contents were still cold. It also held enough to keep us hydrated through both games. I actually had several people ask me about the cooler while there because they hadn't seen it in that color before. Overall, I am very pleased with the cooler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went with the 28-quart cooler from lifetime to take with us when we go riding. This item is lightweight and very well made. We have a larger one and they are “lifetime” for a reason. This size fit so perfect on the back of our side-by-side and the absolute best part is that you don’t have to strap it down! I’ve included a photo of how you can secure this beauty to your ride. We went on a 6 hour ride and didn’t put a dent in our ice packs. I highly recommend this cooler if you like to go on long rides and the bonus is, it comes in this awesome new storm blue color.
