Excelent for High heat
Simple, Sturdy, and very reliable. The way it cooks gets better the more you use it. It can handle high heat and its easy to maintain. You really have no reason to ever get rid of it, ever! I use this for meats, it sears nicely and is large enough for 3 filet mignon to cook at once. My only regret is not getting the larger pan.

Perfect size. Seems to be well made. Excited for my first carbon steel pan.

You Need at Least One of These.
This pan is an important addition to my kitchen. It heats up fast and the handle stays relativity cool, unless it goes into the oven. I have roasted potatoes, cooked onions and cooked a great steak just yesterday. It is a great addition to an induction cooktop. Cleans up well with hot water and a chain mail scrubber.

A personal favorite
I love this carbon still pan. It’s my favorite for searing steaks. With a little care , it will become your go to in the kitchen and is lighter in weight than heavier stainless steels. The more you use it the more beautiful it becomes. Perfect for outdoor cooking.
