    Good meds

    Take consistently when you are severely congested

The old ones left a HORRIBLE aftertaste in my mouth. But these are just as effective, they make you cough more obviously, but you’re coughing up all that phlegm and infection.

    I love how effective this was.

These caplets are easy to reach for when I start having issues and I get almost immediate relief. This version of Mucinex relieves cough and the intensity and impulse of coughing, and helps loosen mucus. This medicine relieved my symptoms so I was able to get a good nights sleep.     [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing that I noticed is that the caplets are different, it indicates that these are fast release. It comes with 10 doses so if you’re taking a dose every 4 hours as the directions say; you would go through a box in a few days. The active ingredient are 10mg of dextromethorphan and 200mg of guaifenesin for reference and comparison to other cough and congestion medications.

    Works Fast for Congestion and Cough Relief

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Mucinex Fast-Max Severe Congestion & Cough Caplets and they really helped clear up my chest congestion and ease my cough. Within about 30–45 minutes I could feel it working, and it made it easier to breathe and rest. The caplets are easy to swallow and not too big. The relief lasts for several hours, which is great when symptoms are at their worst. It can make you a little drowsy, so I’d recommend using it when you don’t need to be super active. Overall, this is an effective product for tough colds and congestion, and I’d definitely keep it on hand for cold season.

    Effective, but taste awful

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was waiting until I got sick to test this product out, and then this past week I got Covid. One of my symptoms was a phlegmy cough, and I did notice that using the product helped make my cough more productive. However, I did also notice that the pills don't have any coating to keep the awful medicine taste from getting on your tongue...I ended up gagging on the pills a few times.
