Plackers Gentle Line Floss Picks Fresh Mint, 75 Ct

Very disappointed. Normally I love Plackers but this one is horrible. Every pick broke after flossing 1 tooth. I’m not sure if this was just a bad batch but I would not recommend it.

Something is 100% wrong with this product. It's too narrow, and when you start flossing the glide thread stretches and you end up hurting your gum with the edges of the plastic parts !! Although I have a narrow mouth, still it's not usable ...

We use floss picks all the time and usually use plackers. We bought the gentle line ones for the first time (we bought four packs) and they are garbage. The floss stretches so much after the first two teeth and it becomes completely useless after about a dozen passes. These seem to be designed to get just that one irritating piece of food stuck between two teeth and that’s about it.

They hold up well and there is a convenient poker at the end for those hard to get things that get stuck in your teeth.

The new gentle slide product with a cream rather than pink plastic is markedly inferior to that offered in pink. The gap between each prong is smaller and the ptfe tape is not held tort - it stretches and flops in use between one’s teeth

Absolute garbage! Most of them coming out of the package with the floss already loose on the pick. Completely useless! How can a company get away with distributing such a poor quality product?

The string stretch after 1st or 2 tooth and have to replace. Worst floss device.

I have been using plackers gentle line for a while now. It’s the only floss I’ve found for my sensitive gums that doesn’t hurt me but is effective. Whenever they changed the packaging and the flossers from the purple to the white ones, the floss changed. It’s stretches out and doesn’t remain taught. I often have to use at least 2 flossers in one round of brushing my teeth because it stretches and becomes unusable. I miss the way they were when they were purple.

The view window in the package of 150 gentle line flossers looked okay, but the floss stretches out immediately so it does not even go between tight teeth or up around the gumline of others. There is a big handle which also hurts the gums as I tried to get the floss between my teeth. Back to the cheaper store brand which actually works. These are now in the trash.

Item is not as advertised. The “gentle line” merely stretches when attempting to “slide” between “tight spaces” resulting in it being ineffective to reach tight spaces. It also then sags so it is ineffective to use for other adjacent teeth. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING.

The floss is nice, but the actual piece that holds the floss is a bit bulky and uncomfortable when flossing my back teeth.

I'm totally disappointed,,, when flossing upper gum hurts

This is the worst floss pick I’ve ever used. The floss doesn’t stay taut at all and got saggy and loose after the second tooth I pressed it into. Then the plastic holder digs into my gums because I can’t press the floss in properly to get inbetween the teeth and is nearly impossible to get the molars due to the floss not being taut. All promotional reviews must be fake because my experience with this product was terrible. I hope I can get a refund from my local store where I purchased it.

I bought this 2 days ago. I wanted the regular Plackers twin line glossers but they didn’t have any in stock so I bought these. I am very dissatisfied! The line stretches and then breaks. I try a new one with the same result! Try again, again the same result! I never had this problem before with the green package. I’ve been using those since my shoulder replacement back in 2022 because I couldn’t use two hands with regular floss. I have continued since then because it’s so convenient. I will not buy this new product. Shame on you!

Bought these a few days ago and have to use probably 5/6 when I only needed to use 1 of any brand .. don’t waste your money .

Love the Original and thought I’d try these out. Unfortunately the string slips out of the plastic when pressure is applied. I have to use 3-4 when I floss. Don’t recommend this version.

Horrible product change. Very cheaply made & breaks easily compared to the original purple flossers. Total downgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how i can take this on the go tonfloss and pick my teeth. The plastic toothpick is super sturdy and does not splinter when trying to use to get the spices out of my teeth. The floss is strong and doesn't shred when i use it.

I am very disappointed in the new line of picks. The previous Gentle pick was much, much better. These do not glide well and very easily break. I preferred the lavender colored picks over this new line!!
