Q: Can the shade on the lamp be changed?

  • A: Yes all of our lamps are interchangeable with other shades. This specific style shade uses a spider fitter, So you would just need to make sure the lamp shade is compatible with that. The easiest way to know that a shade is compatible with a spider fitter is if the wires are on the top of the shade.

Q: Is there anything I can do to stop the coating from coming off? Has the problem been fixed so I could replace it? I took it out of the box but haven't removed the tag or plastic wrap on the shade.

Great lamp

It’s a very nice lamp, great size and has nice texture to it. The one thing - the knob at the top that holds on the shade is grey, which is a little weird.
