A Hit Again!

Each of my two grandsons (now ages 2 and 4) enjoy playing with this block train, which I bought for the older one 2 years ago. I just gave it to my godson’s little boy (27 months), and he played with it nonstop for several hours. Great toy for learning colors and shapes, for problem solving (re-stacking blocks) and for just playing choo choo!

Horrible quality control

We purchased this for our daughter and she was very excited about. We were mortified to discover numerous surfaces of rough unsanded wood, wood shards, and paint chips on numerous pieces. Wiping the product with a simple damp cloth removed large amounts of paint and debris. This is unsafe and unacceptable for a childrens toy.

Not for 2 months+, as in the description

Description says this is for 2 months to 4 years. Package says 2+. Will be returning, as our 8 month old can't use this for another 16 months.

Most loved toys

This is our most loved and most used toy. This was the first toy my daughter could play with and hold and still plays with it as a pre-schooler! The pieces are open ended and great for all ages. We just bought this for a gift since we love it so much!

I got this train for my cousin's son who turned 2 years old recently!! My cousin texted me and told me this had been a HIT and that his son absolutely loves it! He texted me a picture of his son playing with his train!

Pain immediately chipping

This is a lovely train but shortly after giving it to my 21mo old he had red all on & in his mouth from the paint coming off! He was chewing on it but you’d think a toy made for toddlers would assume they might chew it. Hoping it’s at least non-toxic paint.

Didn't attract toddler's attention

Seems well made, but just didn't hold my 2 nor 3 year olds' attention. Have had it for almost a year now and has barely been played with despite our efforts. Still giving 4 stars since it's probably just kids preference, and I got it for a great price.

Paint comes off easily

The paint does not adhere inside the holes in the colored blocks. I used a rag to wipe the inside of the holes and the paint powder came right off.

One of the best toys my kids had

My son got this train as a gift and it was one of the best, intelligent toys he had. Colorful, interesting shapes, made of wood, lot of combinations - my children, one by one spent endless hours with it. They used it not only as train but also as building blocks for their own imagination. After my son younger siblings and cousins played with it. It still travels from child to child and probably will do long time. It's one of the immortal, timeless toys
