Nothing like the picture

The wood was significantly darker than the picture. Considering they didn't offer in store pick up I wasted a bunch of money on shipping. Although it was described as cottage oak and looked like a light, natural finish I would describe it more like medium brown stain.

Arts and Crafts Stool with Back - Cottage Oak (24")

The ordering process, delivery time, packaging, and product were all totally satisfactory. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the color of the chairs was a good bit darker in real life than what it looked like online. When assembling the chairs, make sure you follow the directions precisely. I had to backtrack a bit when I didn't pay close attention to the letter labels on the various parts. Once I corrected my mistake, assembly was fairly easy. The chairs are very nice for the price. They feel solid and look good (except for the color being a little darker than expected). I do recommend them.

Exactly What I Wanted

I ordered 6 of these. They shipped quickly and were well packaged to prevent damage. Easy assembly. Beautiful finish. Exactly what I wanted.
