Description

Directions:
Combine 1-1/2 cups Botan Calrose Rice and 2 cups water in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until moisture is absorbed. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. Makes about 4 cups cooked rice or 6 (2/3 cup) servings. Note: If using an electric rice cooker, combine 1-1/2 cups rice and 2 cups water in electric rice cooker pot. Continue as directed by the rice cooker manufacturer.

Q: just want to know if the Boton Calrose Rice is a short grain rice... even after blowing up the picture to view it cant read the label to see if it is short grain...

  • A: It is a medium-grain rice. The package says nothing in English about the grain length or the purpose it is used for other than being quality and milled. The answer is from Wikipedia.

get this rice now

THIS IS THE BEST RICE EVER!!!!!!!!! it says you don’t need to rinse but I tried both and rinsing yielded better results. OH. MY. GOD. I cannot express how good this rice is. Topped it with kewpie Mayo, sriracha and everything bagel seasoning and it was *chefs kiss*

Good but not at $ 10 dollars for 5 pounds of rice

Absolutely loved this Medium grain rice. I was trying different brands as I grew dissapointed with Goya .The first purchase price was a reasonable Under $6 for 5lbs. But now in less than a month it's a whopping $ 10 dollars for a 5lb sack which, I will Not pay or recommend.
