Q: Can I use this brush if I have braces?

  • A: Yes! The reg. Manual brush: is perfect for braces. Soft bristles!! (Prior to braces,I only used med-hard) there was no reason for it. The oral B cross action soft bristle: perfect for braces. The power one: adjust to sensitivity. Right after my last adjustment I couldn’t use the power brush, it hurt. Once sensitivity subsided: no issues and cleans perfectly. Just don’t let the power brush get “dry” bc it’ll heat up wires and it hurts. Mid 40s: braces for 2nd time in my life- zero issues.

If you plan to use an electric toothbrush, we simply recommend using the sensitive mode, as it spins at a lower speed for extra care and comfort along the gum line, and most importantly, near brackets and wires.

    Tastes like PVC plastic and bristles are too abrasive. Will have to donate or use them to clean the bathroom, but they don't feel safe to use because the plastic taste is overwhelming.
