I don’t know if the product works or not. The smell was so bad I couldn’t bring myself to use it on my kids hair.

Love this shampoo it makes the hair so soft I use it for my kids and I don't need to use conditioner the best

The best! I’ve used this on my kids since they started school just to prevent any lice from coming home and till this day they haven’t ! Theres a little smell but not too bad i think it’s the tea tree oil or whatever they use but definitely recommend! I also only use one bottle per kid for the year so it definitely lasts a long time!

We use this year round to help keep LICE away. Bonus that it smells pleasant.

Used on my kids while there was a big lice outbreak at our school. No lice yet! Smells great and also washes their hair well and rinses clean. Would recommend!

Leaves a film in hair and makes hair feel dirty.

We have been using Fairy Tales products for years, including the shampoo that smells great and is not drying at all. I ask family members to use this at least once a week to prevent lice, along with the spray. Target always stocks these and has the best price.

Purchased this when I heard there were three cases of lice in the preschool my girls go to. Luckily no cases in their classroom, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of this product (we were using it as a preventative measure), but I will say it made my highlighted and colored hair really soft! I was impressed. The smell is not desirable when shampooing, but it does smell nice after rinsing it out. Also, a little bit goes a long way.

So grateful for this shampoo! Love the smell and especially love the peace of mind.

I saw a few other reviews that said their daughters hair fell out and I wish I would’ve taken those more The seriously because after a month of use this made my 5 year old daughters hair fall out!!! The hair that hasn’t fallen out is broken and damaged. Do not use!!!!!!!

My family and I have been using this after a round with nits and nymphs. So far we haven't had any return and have been using this religiously. I will say that it's a bit pricey, though.

Hopefully the lice repel part works, the smell is a little much though!

I don't know if this shampoo actually helps repel lice, but both of my children haven't gotten lice since we started using it. Regardless, this shampoo leaves my children's hair smelling great and feeling clean, so that's a win.

Smell good. Have been using every other day since my kid was 3-4. Currently 6 years old and got lice.

I honestly don't know if it protects against lice since we haven't had a scare yet... but... my daughter's long hair has seriously become so dry that's it's getting knotty and broken/damaged. I had to stop using it after only a few washes.

After a lice scare, my entire family started using this product. We initially loved it, but after a month of use our hair started to fall out in clumps. Please take caution when using this product.

A Must for summer camp to prevent your kids from coming back with lice! My daughter seems susceptible to everything bug related and has had lice many times and this really helps her to avoid getting it as well as keeping the lice from coming back after she’s had it (won’t get rid of the lice itself, you still have to put in the usual grueling effort to remove lice and nits from the hair). Wish I’d known about it sooner.

I first got this a few years ago when we had I think 2-3 outbreaks in our house (5 adults & 1 baby) as my inlaw kept getting them from somewhere probably a friend's house or something..he's not the brightest thus this happened a few times. I previously had it once before many years before I was a mom and products like this didn't exist then I wanna say around 2009/2010ish. So from that embarrassing and horrific experience I knew what a NIGHTMARE these disgusting vile beasties can be. The eggs can be a pain in the you know what especially if you're blessed/cursed with super thick and long hair like me (mine is down to my butt)butt. I've gone through maybe 4 to a handful of infestations and while I was lucky I didn't get infected all of those times (and was able to avoid cutting off my super long hair) what most likely saved me was how infrequent I was about washing my hair, to make it healthy and out of laziness lol While we all can't or don't like to go too long btwn hair washing, which makes products like these wonderful! I originally got it when my son was pretty much a baby still so he was too young to use any of the harsh chemical treatments like Nix ect. So I noticed he hadn't surprisingly got it yet so I grabbed this when picking up some Nix for the rest of the family. I also got the spray too but ended up misplacing it somewhere so I think this works fine on its own. Highly recommend if there is an outbreak in your home, one of your children comes home with them and you have a baby, ect. Unfortunately years later he's now 4.5 and we just got another outbreak so I broke this bad boy out again and will only come back and edit this or write another if it doesn't work this time or maybe even if it Def works ;) Good luck to anyone having to spend hours combing thru hair especially long thick haired people like me :(

A tiny goes a long way. The conditioner works well will shampoo. It’s tingly but the conditioner makes the hair smooth too. Good product line!
