ARM & HAMMER Advance White Extreme Whitening Toothpaste - 6oz/2ct

I had given up on the expectation that any toothpaste would actually make mt teeth whiter. I drink coffee every day and refuse to use a straw. I also occasionally smoke a pipe. Guess what? I am gaining ground with this product. My wife is also using it, and she agrees. I'm truly impressed.

I have used this toothpaste for many years and never had any issues, but when purchased it last month, I noticed that my tongue was swollen and cracked, my lips were peeling, and the sides of my mouth were cracked little did I think that it was the toothpaste. When another family member mentioned that they experiencing the same symptoms that is when I decided to look and see if others were reporting the same problem. As soon as I stopped using the toothpaste my issues went away.

I have been using this for several years at my dentist’s recommendation and the results have been excellent. However, in the last month with a new tube, I have experienced a burning feeling around my lips and now more irritation inside my mouth. I am wondering if you have strengthened this Advance White and if there is another one of your products I should switch to.

I’ve been using it for a month and it was fine but randomly after using it, it’s made my gums so sensitive and the inside of my lips starting peeling clear jelly like skin and a lot of it very quickly. It’s like my skin is just falling off. My lips also feel so weird and numb

After experiencing abnormal issues with my mouth and lips for a couple of weeks now, I finally thought to look into the possibility that it might be caused by my toothpaste, Arm and Hammer Advance White. I wasn't expecting to find any links because I've used Arm and Hammer toothpastes for years without any problems. After reading multiple reviews reporting the exact same issues as I was experiencing, I was actually relieved. I had been very concerned up until now that something was seriously wrong with me! My symptoms were dry, cracked and peeling lips, sores in the corner of my mouth, dry mouth and an overall strange feeling inside my mouth after brushing. I am sad to say that I'm discontinuing using this product immediately.

This is the toothpaste that was recommended by my husband's dentist. He has used it for several years since that recommendation. He likes it and requests I buy it and Target had a great coupon offer this week. Fast delivery too!

Ive used this toothpaste for probably 15 years but suddenly now its burning my mouth, feels like brushing with battery acid. Took me a while to figure out the cause because Ive always used this toothpaste but apparently, like with everything else these days, they decided to add some sort of poison to it and now its unusable. Do not use unless you want to ruin your gums and have a mouth full of open sores. Shame on you Arm & Hammer.

I used this for the first time and now my gums, tongue, and lips hurt. To add insult to injury it did not remove the stains from my front teeth, when my normal toothpaste does.

Good tasting toothpaste. I feel like it cleans my teeth well.

I used this toothpaste a few times and made my teeth nice and white and clean. But shortly after brushing my teeth last night, my lips started swelling and burning, and I noticed sores in my mouth and on my tongue. I rinsed my face and mouth well, and this morning I noticed that the roof of my mouth was tender and burned. Definitely this toothpaste. Will not use again.

Something is wrong with the formulation, I’ve used this toothpaste in the past and have never had an issue, but like others reviewed, this product has given me a swollen tongue, and my lips are chapped and peeling.

At first this product was great, I bought another tube. All of the sudden I had cracked lips, dermatosis, dry gums, and pain. I thought I was allergic to something I was eating. Went to the doctor had an ointment prescribed, worked for a day or two. Now after switching toothpaste and reading the reviews, I now know it was this toothpaste. This affected my daily life for months!

Wow! I thought i was the only one! It burned the inside of my lips I had to immediately rinse my mouth! Now I have a painful sore on the corner of my lips! Im putting Vaseline on my lips to help it heal. Its extremely uncomfortable. I read im not the only one. Sorry to hear others are expecting the same as me. Definitely not going yo use again. I thought I was just being sensitive and I needed to toughen up so ive used it every night nut I have to use a mouth wash after because the after tast is so bad... in mornings I use a different toothpaste it does not burn my mouth. I hope this review helps others thinking they are the only one experiencing burns.... also for the MFG to adjust the chemicals.

I've used this toothpaste for a few years. I think something is wrong with the latest batch. I bought a new tube in May and I've had the worst experience. Mouth is raw from skin sloughing off everyday. Lips are chapped.mouth is so dry. I'veost a lot of my taste buds. Not fun.

Ive used these products in the past and have never had issues. Until now, the inside of my mouth is irritated and swollen. Lips are dried out and have sore in the corners of my mouth.

Had been recommended by my hygienist and since using, have gotten positive feedback (and see the difference) on how much it minimizes buildup between bi-annual cleanings and keeps my teeth cleaner and brighter.

Used twice, both times swollen lips, irritation inside my mouth and rash on my chin. I do not recommend. Taste wasn't great as well. Not a good product in my opinion.

This toothpaste has been giving me mouth burns/a horrible rash on and off for 6 months. When I finally figured out what was causing the rash and burning on my mouth, I stopped using this product and the rash has not come back. This rash shows up days later and lingers for days after you stop using the toothpaste. It is very painful. Highly recommend NOT using this product. Awful awful awful.

I’ve used Arm & Hammer Advance White before without issue. This latest tube of toothpaste has given me swollen lips and mouth, dry cracking skin in the corner of my mouth, sores along my gum line and itching around my face. I stopped using it for two weeks and tried it again to make sure this was the culprit and my symptoms returned.
