Why Red 40?
Let me start by saying I'm not a health nut, I'm just a person who is allergic to certain food dyes and I get frustrated when they're added into products for seemingly no reason. What I can't understand is why a MINT flavored mouthwash needs Red 40 food dye?? It doesn't even make sense for it to be pink in the first place, and even if they still wanted it to be pink for whatever reason, they definitely could have used any other dye besides Red 40 specifically. This is weird and makes me suspicious of their intentions here given the emerging research concerns surrounding Red 40 dye.

Previously would have given this five stars but I’ve been using this for years and the formula must have changed in the past couple of months. Smells and tastes almost boozy now and leaves a bad aftertaste. Not nearly as refreshing as before.

The product has recently changed. I am not sure what exactly changed, but it is disgusting now. It has a weird smell. It now has a horrible taste and aftertaste. I feel like this product is contaminated and not safe, it tastes so bad. Not sure why you ruined a good product, because I was a loyal consumer for years, but now I need to find another mouthwash. Do better Target.

I don't know what is happening with all the up and up products but the ones I usually buy have changed for the worse. This product and the green mouthwash both had a really awful after taste to them that was never there before. I originally thought I just got a bad product, but both versions had the same weird taste to them.

Tastes just like the Listerine purple kind. I bought this for the “eucalyptus” flavor, thinking I’d like it (I don’t love the intense mint flavor of anything), but it is the same flavor and ingredients as purple Listerine, which also includes eucalyptus lol.
