  • A: We have four grandsons who’ve used this when they visit this past year. I can’t say it gets treated gently, but it keeps working just fine. Not great at picking up dirt, but great at a toy that entertains endlessly. We have no complaints.

  • A: I have bought 3 of them now- 1 for 1 y/o grandson who did learn very easily how to start and stop it. he push it /bang into things and dropped it- 2 years later still working. battery change x 1. one- to have at my house- bought 2 years ago and still running. just recently bought the 3rd one for another 1 y/o grandson. pushing it everywhere. also taking the normal beating of a 1 year old. has learned again how to start it and stop it. has had for 1month now and this one has had no problems. I would recommend. just have to show start and stop and always encourage them to press stop and put it away as with any other toy/ or what you would do with a real vacuum

  • A: I have purchased 2 of these for two different grandkids one was 2 at the time- he is 3 now and it still works fine he likes to vacuum when his mommy is vaccuming. the other grandkid is just a toddler now and he is rough and tumble on everything..... Not sure it wll last but i will update later since he just got it for Christmas...

    My sister got this toy for our son, he was so excited to use it but within ten minutes it had stopped working. First the little pellets stopped flurrying around, then shortly after the vacuum "motor" stopped making any sound. No amount of fidgeting with it would resume it. We went in and exchanged it for another and already out of the box the little pellet flurries are not working. After seeing so many verifiable negative reviews about the same issue I am dumbfounded that Target would consider selling this absolute junk. It seems like the reviews have been padded with inauthentic positve review.

    Wanted to love this but NO

    I really wanted to love this... so I bought this for my one year olds birthday Dec 21 because he's absolutely obsessed with my vacuum. But one, the vacuum goes though a pack of batteries a day. And two, the stand up mechanism broke within the first week. And my kid isn't super rough with it at all. This should've been his favorite toy but because of those two issues, I'm going to return unless target reaches out with a replacement.

    Why C cell batteries?!?!

    The play features of this are great, and the kids love it, but why this takes C cell batteries is beyond me. It makes the toy more expensive, heavier, and less efficient. This needs a revision to use AA batteries.

    This is NOT a Dyson Product

    First off, my 2-year old loved this item to death. I am sad to have to give this 1 star. The debris tray broke within a few months but I wasn't worried knowing about Dyson's legendary customer support. Unfortunately, they would not stand by this product as they "do not sell it." The customer service rep even told me flat out that this is not a Dyson product. So I guess they have this counterfeit item on their store page. Just passing along this info for anyone else expecting customer support for this item. Oh also, the colorful confetti inside the fake canister only spun around for a minute or two on first use. It spent the next few months of use just stuck lamely to the inside of the canister. I guess that's enough to get it out the door at Target. Fortunately my kiddo didn't care about the confetti.

    Great gift

    Hard to Read Directions

    The directions are very vague and it requires special, not common batteries. I took me at least 30 minutes to get the battery cover off. It works well once assembled, but now i can't figure out how to empty the suction cup compartment. I feel like the actual suction on a toy vacuum isn't necessary.

    Dyson Vacuum

    So disappointed with this product. As a Dyson I expected this to be higher quality than a no name brand off Amazon. My son loved this toy but the sound/vacuum power on worked for only a couple of weeks. We thought maybe he burned through the batteries and tried replacing them with new ones, no luck. It's broken and he was devastated. We can't justify buying another one when this didn't last a month.

    Itty bitty vacuum

    The vacuum is a lot smaller then I imagined which was partially my fault for not pulling out a tape measure prior to ordering. It does require batteries, a lot of batteries however I never made it to the point of inserting the batteries because the handle of the vacuum wouldn’t even *click* (as the instructions say) into the base. The bottom of the vacuum is very ‘floppy’ and that alone annoyed me. The concept is cute but not ideal. I returned this item
