  • A: It would be my recommendation to NEVER ingest Epsom salts with additives and/or essential oils even though it is gluten free. Lavender should only be taken internally under the care and direction of a qualified naturopathic professional. It can be toxic at certain levels. Otherwise…products for external use do not need to be gluten free even for the most sensitive celiacs. Gluten only affects the internal digestive system via ingestion…it is not absorbed through the skin.
