Really works
Been running it nonstop since I bought it a month ago without issue. More powerful than a more expensive tower fan I already had that's twice it's size. Will probably buy a second so I don't have to keep carrying it around the house.

We bought this and a pedestal. Here is my review for the pedestal, which applies equally here: I absolutely love this fan. It is quiet, powerful, heavy, and well made. And it looks good in our house. I had grown used to the crappy plastic oscillating fans that we have used over the years and stopped thinking about fans as part of a home cooling strategy. With these new VFANs, we have bumped up the thermostat setting for our heat pumps and are even more comfortable than when the temp is lower. I'm already trying to think about where I would put a 3rd.

Fantastic VFan Sr. Vintage Air Circulator
I owned a Vornado before and finally the plastic dial broke...so, I was looking for a new 'Fan'. I ended up with the Vornado Company again and when I saw the Retro - Vintage Sr. I was totally in love and I had to have it...so I bought it. It works great and I am so happy! I will pass it on to my children I am sure it'll be running well for many years! C.S.

Really Does Move That Air
When I was researching a fan for my great room, I read the claims that Vornadoes don’t just blow air in front of the fan, but circulate it throughout the room. I thought that claim was a little over the top until one day when I lost hold of some helium balloons during my nieces birthday party. The fan was on and it quite literally floated those balloons completely around the ( 15’x18’) room several times until we finally caught them. I don’t know how it does it, but this VFAN Sr. really does what it says it does. Eight years old and still moving air and looking cool while doing it.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
If I could give this circulator Vfan 10 stars, I would. Not only does it push air beyond belief, but the designers really captured the vintage vibe with the design. I have several vintage fans from 1951, they work great but get very hot when using all day, and they also make a lot of noice. This New Vfan is so quiet, even on high. Great quality too, I expect to get many years out of this one. And It has a 5 years warranty ! DON'T HESITATE !

Absolutely love this vfan vintage fan! I have a small living room/kitchen area, and it circulates air like no other fan I've ever had. Much cooler in these areas, and saves the air conditioning from running more often because I feel cooler.

Powerful and very attractive
This is the third Vornado vintage air circulator we have purchased. We have an older home with radiant hot water heating and thus no duct work for central air conditioning. The 1924 home is made of stone so it remains cool for the most part. On a particularly warm day/evening the Vornado air circulator keeps the home nicely cooled. We have one in each of the bedrooms in our home. It's quiet and keeps the rooms cool and comfortable. The retro design looks great in our Arts & Crafts home.

Quiet but powerful
Our original Vornado (early 1950’s) retired itself this summer (2023). Possible bearing issue. This new one, a classic Vornado, is nice looking, quiet and powerful. Still may look into repairing our original one but this one is doing the job.

Great Retro Vornado Fan !!
Wanted to try a Retro Vornado fan since I am a Antique fan collector and have older Vornados from the 50’s 60’s 70’s & 80’s Let me tell ya that this new Vornado Sr Vintage fan is right up there with the older vintage Vornados from the past.Love that the fan moves air quietly from a gentle breeze to a good breeze across a room that’s not annoying or noisy !! I use the new Vornado Sr in my living room moving the A/C thru the house.Great new fans Recommend!!

As expected
The product was as expected. I'd made a previous purchase, so I knew what I was in for. Price point is a little steep, but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. The worst issue with this company is their policy regarding the use of PO Boxes as a billing address. DO NOT BUY ONLINE IF YOU USE A PO BOX FOR BILLING. This is one of their approaches to fraud prevention. They give you a courtesy call to confirm your identity but will cancel your order if you don't call back same day. I don't know how much loss it actually prevents, but it is definitely annoying and an inconvenience to an honest customer to have to re-order. It delayed my receiving the product because I couldn't call back immediately.

Not like a fan
I am so impressed with these air circulaters, they are nothing like a measly fan. I got an original and loved it so much I got a large as well. Would love one for every room in the house. You can feel the air movement throughout the room, the air feels lighter.
