Q: Is it safe to use this product along with facial waxing? I get my eyebrows waxed every 3-4 weeks and was wondering/worried that this would make my skin too sensitive for waxing the way retinol does.

    I love this serum!

    This is a very nice serum. I LOOOOVE the texture. It’s such a nice gel and a little goes a long way. I usually use 2 drops, but I could probably get away with just 1 if I was in a pinch. It feels so luxurious and makes my skin feel smooth and glowy. It’s helped me so much in clearing up the texture on my cheeks (little whiteheads).

    Consistancy is key and use more than recommended.

    I have used this for 4 years now, if I run out or forget to put it on more than a day my skin starts to peel and I break out. It’s a super affective exfoliation for me without causing irritation. I will say 2-3 drops is not enough, I coat my face and wait until it dries to lay down. My 20 something self really could have used this I’m 40 and my skin looks better now than I did when I was younger!

    Amazing.

    I cannot use retinols or any type of acne product as I have very challenging sensitive skin. I recently had a bad eczema rash that then turned into painful cystic acne due to a product I used to try to help it. This is the only product that has quickly and significantly decreased the breakout. It's a little burning feeling when you put it on. All you need is a drop for your whole face. It deeply hydrates without feeling greasy. The texture alone makes it a night product. But OMG waking up to better looking and healing skin is amazing.

    Can cause major breakouts

    Beware! I don’t have sensitive skin and I use a wide variety of skincare products without any issues, but i used this serum as directed and it caused the worst breakout I’ve had since middle school. Totally clogged my pores and ruined my skin barrier. I had to work with my dermatologist to correct my skin. Took about 3 weeks to correct. Based on the reviews, it sounds like it’s effective for some people. But personally, it was the worst skin product I’ve ever used.

    Sinks into skin very well

    I am a big pixi fan even though there is a 70/30 hit and miss. This is a hit for me. Sinks in really well and doesn’t irritate me sensitive skin. My skin definitely looks plumper in the morning

    Heart eyes

    I use a lot of different skin care products and I feel like this is one of the best. I don’t use it nightly, only when I feel my skin is looking a little dull. A night or two using this and my skin is right back to glowing! Pixi makes some really great products!

    New part of my daily routine

    This made me break out a little for the first times i used it and i was using the glow tonic as well. But i used for the second time and my skin responded so well to it and significantly reduced the big painful acne bumps that i had.
