Nasal decongestant

Uses

■ temporarily relieves nasal congestion due to: ■ a cold ■ hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies ■ promotes nasal and sinus drainage ■ temporarily relieves sinus congestion and pressure ■ helps clear nasal passages; shrinks swollen membranes

Directions

Directions ■ adults and children 6 to under 12 years of age (with adult supervision): 2 or 3 sprays in each nostril, not more often than every 10 to 12 hours. Do not exceed 2 doses in any 24-hour period. ■ children under 6 years of age: consult a doctor. Shake well before use: To open, hold by the white grips then squeeze and turn cap. Before using for the first time, remove the protective cap from the tip and prime metered pump by depressing firmly several times. To spray, hold bottle with thumb at the base and nozzle between first and second fingers. Without tilting head, insert nozzle into nostril. Fully depress pump all the way down with a firm even stroke and sniff deeply. Wipe nozzle clean after use. To close, turn cap until it "clicks". Do not discard cap.

    Bottle Design Fail

    I have never been so utterly frustrated trying to open and then dispense a prison my life. It took to get the top off and then once off, a white nozzle cover (I guess) would not disengage resulting in no way to use the spray. Attempt after attempt reusing me throwing it all in the trash. I have no idea if it is effective but it is certainly defective! Do not purchase unless you have an engineering degree.

    Horrendous Packaging

    AWFUL PACKAGING! I can’t even review this spray because 1.) the cap does not come off 2.) there is a second cap underneath that blocks the spray function AND 3.) the top disconnected and does not screw back onto the bottle. Horrendous and dysfunctional product design; I unfortunately have nothing to say about the quality of relief or effects of this spray because the packaging did not allow me to. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! You are better off buying generic versions than this nonsense of a nasal spray.

    JUST DON'T DO IT.

    Just don’t. Sure it clears your sinuses. And immediately gets you hooked. If you use more than a couple of days you will be hopelessly addicted & when you try to stop you will be more stuffed up than ever. TAKE THE WARNINGS SERIOUSLY & DO NOT RISK THE REBOUND CONGESTION. It really sucks. No reason to use this stuff when there are decongestant alternatives (Flonase or Sudafed) that are not addictive and actually help you get over your congestion.

    I hope you read the reviews before you buy!

    Can’t say anything about the product itself because as of January ‘26, STILL can’t get the dang thing open! Correction: I finally pried the cap off because let me tell you, no amount of squeezing/pushing/twisting will work. Once I got it off, I tried doing the “test pumps” to get ‘er going, which resulted in fluid leaking from somewhere? Best I can figure is there is another cap covering the hole where it should mist from but that thing is like GLUED on. Tried to get it off with my teeth, scissors, a razor blade. Nada. I’d post a pic but I gave up and put the cap back on, put back in box and intend to return to Target and get my $10 back. There was no way I was gonna get that cap back off. So short story long, until you are sure they have a new package pump design, don’t waste your time or money. Take note of scissor and teeth marks in the pic. 🤣

    You'll need a 10 year old child to open the child proof cap

    This product might do what is says, if a person could ever get the child proof cap off if it. I searched on how to take the cap off of Mucinex nasal spray… the first thing that popped up was a tic toc video and about a 10 year old child displaying how easy it is to open. I cannot believe how stupid this world is becoming.
