i got it today but this humidifier warm mist just like normal cool mist , does not feel warm at all if you want warm mist would not recommend.

A friend had it and said she loved it. I wanted a bigger tank so I wouldn’t have to fill it every night. I bought 2 as gifts. Mine started leaking from the bottom less than a month of owning it. Then the other 2 that were gifts both lasted a year or so and both started leaking from the bottom. I really wanted to like it, but it didn’t last.

Love this vaporizer! We have one for each room. It's nice to be able to adjust the amount of mist flow and its direction. The nightlight is nice if you choose to use it, but it is extremely bright. Would keep me awake at night if I used it because there's no ability to adjust it. Doctors (especially pediatricians) advise against using warm mist for a vaporizer, since it promotes bacteria growth. I advise anyone to whom I've recommended this to not to use the warm mist for that reason. The tank is huge, so you won't have to refill it a lot unless you have it on full blast all of the time. Very sturdy but can easily tip if not on level ground. Have had our original one for years.

So far this product works perfectly in a small area, which is just what we purchased it for. We are waiting to see how long it lasts and performs to judge the quality.

I found that using reverse osmosis water works wonderfully in my unit. I recommend it to others to reduce build up of minerals!

I'll be ordering a couple more in the summer. I think that says it all.

My new humidifier has been in use for about a month. With the variable mist control set at the lowest setting, the water consumption seems to be excessive! The use and care instructions state I should be getting approximately 100 hours of continued use between tank refills. I am lucky to make it 24 hours on a tank. I have changed the adjustment on the variable mist control and the cool/warm control and this does not change the water consumption. It seems like all I do is fill the tank, continuously!!!!

It’s amazingly quiet, easy to fill & clean and does what it says - what more can you ask.

We had another PureGuardian humidifier for several years that resembled an old radio and loved it. When it finally stopped working, we replaced with this mode. This one is smaller and requires more frequent filling. That wouldn't be a huge issue except that the tank design of this model is horribly awkward. You have to turn the tank over to fill it but condensation in the center stack where the mist comes out invariably gets water everywhere. Lots more water in the base when you lift the tank, even empty, than in our previous model which also leads to things needlessly getting wet. Overall, I wouldn't purchase this one again.

Perfect size for the room I got it for and love the option of either cool or warm mist. I am really glad I order this product.

Easy to use. Provides variable amount of water vapor. Easy to clean. Happy that it doesn't harbor mold/mildew!

This machine is running for about 17 hours in a roughly 500sq ft area. We're putting distilled water in it and have had it for 4 mo now. It needs another gallon jug every day. It does make a huge difference in the static electricity in our basement. I would say it does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Lots of steam! No spotting or discoloration on our dresser or lamp it sits next to. We do have it on a small towel and the steam blowing away from the lamp. The warm setting is not particularly warm but we're okay with it it's not cold. Because we are using bottled distilled water it is a bit of a balance act to refill it. Placing a towel under it helps as it does dribble a bit. We occasionally get a red light signaling it is out of water even though it is full. Quick fix is picking the water tank up a little off the base and GENTLY "dropping" it back on. The bubbles escape up and everything works as expected. It does get a little pink build up that I use a paper towel to wipe up. The plastic cup like thing the steam escapes from is removable so I take it out to Q-tip it clean. Easy to clean really. No major complaints about this machine just bottled water adds up price wise. Flip side of that is so does lotion for dry cracked skin which we have not had since running this. My migraines have decreased also. It's a balance act to refill but it's quick. Why they can't make it so you don't have to flip the tank over I don't know but it's fairly painless. I am debating putting another one upstairs.

There is a warm mist setting but it is not actually warm, it's more like room temperature. The mist leaves a fine white film on our reading glasses. Upon closer inspection, there is a fine while film on everything in the house. The users directions describe this to be a potential issue with some water and we need to purchase a decalcification filter for another $15 to remedy the issue. This was not an issue with our last humidifier. : (

I have graves disease and dry eye syndrome and this powerful humidifier provides a heavy mist that really keeps a lot of moisture in the air and it has made a difference with the comfort of my eyes. I was pleasantly surprised at the power and amount of mist this humidifier produces . I use this in a large Master Bedroom at night , and a good sized den during the day and it works great . It is very user friendly and easy to clean . On " high " setting, this does not last 100 hrs , but more like 24 hrs . However, it is very easy to refill , simply remove the water tank , fill and use . I plan to purchase a second one . I would highly recommend this humidifier to anyone suffering with dry eyes , or in need of humidity in the air. A definite 5 star ratings !!

i bought this humidifier cause i need warm & cool, well the mist wasn't warm at all, so i call PureGuardian and i did not get a proper answer, so i return it to target with no problem at all.
