Woven Teak Bath Mat Brown - Hip-o Modern Living

This was really cute when it arrived, but when it got wet it leaked red (from the finish). For 6 months this mat dyed our feet red, then after a year a lot of the color was gone and it is a dull light brown color.

At first, they look great. However, after just a few showers it has stained the white floor basin a reddish hue and has begun gathering mold/mildew.

I ordered two of these to go side by side in my long bathroom. They came in completely different colors and with very different sized wood tiles. One had chips of wood and chunks missing.

We love it! Per included instructions, we washed it with soap and water and let dry outside before use. My husband really wanted this mat to replace the towels I would lay on the floor! It soaks up water and dries quickly! It’s not too thick, so we don’t trip over it when exiting the shower! It smells nice and is aesthetically pleasing!

A perfect addition to my current (and soon-to-be renovated) bathroom! It's soft under the feet, and easy to roll up afterwards to help it dry off (see photo). Per instructions, I washed it off in soapy water and let it air dry outdoors (it dries quickly). As a result I've found no stains on my floor (I also give my feet a quick wipe before getting out of the shower). The mat does not slide on my non-polished floors. Though I was aware of the dimensions, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was larger than I thought. The teak bath floor mat has the zen-like quality and style that a bath rug never gave my bathroom.

Just what I was looking for. The Teak wood has a nice fragrance. Soft on your feet and well constructed.

Just one problem with this mat ; I have it in a shower but the shower doesn’t drain as well so water runs out the shower (it’s zero threshold).

I wanted to love these rugs, but after receiving both the large and small rug, I was truly bummed out by the disclaimer included in the box. The note asserted the tiles could stain bath floors, restricted use in bath tubs, and warned of slipping. On other website, the mat was used in tubs and showers, so I hoped to use the rugs in a similar fashion. When placed on the bathroom floor the mat indeed wiggled around. In my opinion, these are good as outdoor mats, especially good for a deck or patio

My new Floor Mat arrived a day earlier than expected and all, I am very happy with it, looks just like the picture. It looks very "spa" like, and others who have seen it agree. I love it.... it doesn't slip and it is low to the floor enough that my Robot Vac goes right over it!!!!! The teak wood has that teak smell once it gets wet, but it dries quickly and the smell subsides. Overall extremely happy with my purchase.

I am very happy with the teak mat. It appears to be good quality. I’m so glad to throw away my soggy bath rugs. The directions that come with the mat tell you to wash the mat with soap and water and air dry before use. I did this and had no issue with staining on my ceramic tile. The mat does not slip even on the tile and is sturdy. I am so happy with it that I’m ordering another. Gives my bathroom the natural spa look I wanted.

In the summer my kitchen tile floor sweats when the floor is cooler than the room air because the AC duct runs right below it. Exactly what I need in my kitchen in front of my sink and chopping counter. Keeps me from standing in the "sweat." Looks great!

Perfect bath mat! Always had the bath rugs and even though I washed them constantly I just couldnt stand how disgusting they are. So i finally opted for a wood rug. Best thing I have bought for my bathrooms. Also make sure you wash it with soap and water and let it air dry before first use.

Nice quality, doesn’t slide and looks good. We are using it on heated floors so the heat can escape through the slats.

Looks great and works great as a shower mat. No more stepping onto a soggy bath mat.
