Very good, but mine haven't lasted too well.
I have had 3 of these over the years, and have had 2 replaced. I WOULD replace the 3rd if it broke. They do break. They are still incredibly hard-working and effective. They come highly recommended but make sure you keep the Guarantee handy.

Nice while it lasted?
Unfortunately this toothbrush broke within a month of me purchasing it. Now I have to send it back to them for them to run tests on it before they send me one back. Don’t waste your time or money buying this piece of trash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have nothing to compare this toothbrush to, since it is my first electronic one. It tickles my mouth when I brush the inside of my teeth. The timed sounds helps me brush longer. I must mention this, although it has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I wrote to you when I received it and asked a question about the brushes that came with it, but you didn't have the courtesy to respond.

Very nice toothbrush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Protective Clean 5100 is great! We really like the little beep you hear every 30 seconds to remind you to switch to different teeth. The slim style is easy to hold and the battery lasts at least two weeks. It's nice having the option of the 3 different settings, but the standard one should be fine for most people. All in all, a great toothbrush. I wish it were easier to figure out how to sign up for the brush auto-refills; I still haven't found how to do that.

Very very messy, no actual pressure sensor
I'm not very happy with this thing. It makes a ginormous mess by spraying toothpaste all over the place, unless you keep your mouth completely closed while brushing. That is not always easy, especially when brushing the front teeth. It leaves a splatter of toothpaste all over the bathroom, and I'm definitely not a messy person. I've used many electric toothbrushes in the past and never had this problem before. Also, it says it comes with a pressure sensor but it doesn't. The instructions say that it will make a sound when you press too hard, and I've even tried pressing the toothbrush against my hand as hard as I can, and there's no sound. The only sound it makes is the motor working harder because it's meeting pressure. Is that what they mean by a pressure center feature? You've got to be kidding me. I definitely prefer the Oral-B over this one. The Oral-B made almost zero mess and the pressure sensor actually senses pressure.

Phillips is the BEST!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my first Phillips toothbrush got damaged when I dropped it, I fell for the hype and switched to an oral B brush. It was honestly so inferior, I couldn't wait to get another Phillips! I got a great deal on my new Phillips and I'm never changing brands again. My Phillips is hands down the best for thorough cleaning and I LOVE the way my teeth always feel "Dentist" clean after every use! I'm older, so protecting my tooth/gum health is important. Phillips keeps my mouth in tip top shape.

Out of all the electric toothbrushes I’ve used I have to say I dislike this one the most. It’s so messy! I have never had one spray everywhere like this one. And the constant beeping when it’s time to change the head is obnoxious. I’m a dental hygienist and would get an oral b instead.

Great value, effective clean, gentle on gums!
Very happy with this item. It is quieter than I anticipated, I like the sleek design, and my teeth feel exceptionally clean. I chose this item specifically for the gum health option and I do think it is gentle, yet effective. I also appreciate that the battery lasts so long and I don’t have to keep the charger out in the bathroom counter.
