  • A: Thank you for reaching out. All of our products will have a seal with the exception of products containing a pump. We do not use adhesives for seals on our products, we use heat machines. As a result of this, sometimes the seal may come up with the lid and recommend checking under the lid. The seals on these are not induction seals, and are not intended to seal. It is not in comparison to tubes or flip caps, where the pressure causes the seal to conform such that the consumer has to physically remove it, or like the coconut oil/scrub/soaks.     This coconut oil with coconut milk and Acacia Senegal smells amazing and works wonders. It actually absorbs well for being a hydration oil. I use after bath or shower and it absorbs into my arms and legs perfectly. Smells soft like summer on a beach

    Great body oil, doesn’t feel super greasy and it extremely hydrating. It smells really nice as well but not overpowering. It has a great aroma and the packaging is clean and simple as well as the ingredients.

    Do Not Buy if Sensitive to Fragrances

    Do not buy if you hate the smell of Lily or extremely fragrant flowers. Not sure why it smells so strong, but this is one of those scents that will give you migraines and aggravate your coworkers. Stay away!

    Good moisturizer for the money

    I always put on either body oil or body butter after my shower. Now that winter is upon us, my skin gets so incredibly itchy especially when I have to run the heat. Shea Moisture products are very moisturizing and this body oil is no exception. It has a coconut oil scent but also a very botanical spa like scent. It's not overpowering but it's there. It doesn't compete with my perfume, I think it enhances whatever other fragrance that I wear. I apply after shower while my skin is still damp and it locks in moisture for the day. I don't feel as itchy. It's also great on my legs after I shave as it makes them so smooth. It's a nice protective layer on the skin on cold days to keep it hydrated. The price isn't too bad as it does last me a while.

    Love! It is so light and moisturizing, I have very dry skin and eczema and this product helps me so much! It leaves my skin so shiny and soft! I’m obsessed. It really is just an amazing product and it keeps my skin clear too.

    I love this stuff. Already on my second bottle, I get so many compliments on the way it smells. It also adds a healthy glow to my skin, especially love to use in the summer after sun tanning. Only complaint would be the bottle always gets so sticky and gross, but maybe that’s my fault lol. Definitely recommend

    Floral and fairly dry

    The smell is strong if you put it on your arms. Now you might not notice it in a few days (just like new perfume) but it’s definitely stronger than I would have expected after smelling it in store. It’s also definitely more floral than coconut. Think more on the path to gardenia. Not bad, but floral. For a regular oil and not a dry oil, it sinks into your skin pretty quickly. You can kind of feel it, but it’s better than say Aveeno oils. I won’t be able to use this daily, but it will become my new bath oil.

    Softens and Restores

    I just bought Shea Moister daily hydration Virgin Coconut Oil body oil. I can't say how much I love this oil. I used it right when I got out of the shower when my skin was still damp. It's truly amazing. My skin absorbed this instantly. I've used a few body oils for my dry skin, but this is the best one! I also used it mixed with lotion, and it worked perfectly! The consistency is a little thick. For me, it worked better with water or lotion. I've used this in my foot spa, and it worked amazing. It softens and restores my skin without any irritation. It has a very mild coconut smell. It doesn't last long. I love coconut scented products, so it is a win-win for me. I absolutely recommend this!

    Pregnant recommendation!

    Hydrating and smells amazing. I used this during my pregnancy to keep my belly hydrated. I used it 1-2x daily with a thick lotion and avoided stretch marks! I do wish it had a pump, but still great.

    Super soft skin

    I got this to try to fade a scar on my leg. I keep it in my shower and use it before I get out. My skin is so soft! Scar didn’t fade but I still love it! Light scent.
