Good size, texture was a surprise
I like the cover overall, but I was surprised that the texture was far from smooth. I was used to pillowcase type smoothness for sham-covers, as I use them on the bed. The color is good, but I would have preferred a smoother surface.

Fabulous quality - substantial fabric weight and classic design
For the low price of these shams, I frankly was not expecting great quality - I just needed something to "make do." To my delighted surprise, these are outstanding quality; the fabric is a very substantial weight, and the seams and construction high quality. What a great surprise! I will definitely buy this brand again. So hard to find this kind of quality these days, at any price. Thanks to Target for carrying this brand.

Just What I was Looking For.
These were exactly what I was looking for to go on the master bed for the summer. I have a lovely hand made bed quilt but no shams. They did not quilt shams in the old days.
These shams pick up the blue I the quilt and have a nice raised pattern typical of matelassé. They quality is heavy and the price is excellent. I am tempted to purchase the coverlet that matches.

Disappointed Sage color was dull and raised design was not raised or distinct like other Matelasse I have seen or own. Maybe neutral colors are prettier but I needed green to match hand made quilts. Quality and size for price was good. They had no distinct odor.

Ivory coverlet and shams
The shams were fine, especially for the price. I was a bit disappointed that the raised design wasn't more pronounced. The fabric isn't quite as heavy as the old-time coverlet and shams, but the price is way more reasonable than the older versions. In addition, it makes it more suitable for a 4 season coverlet (with a blanket in the winter!). The coverlet washed up well, and didn't shrink. I would buy it again.
