Yep, it's yellow

With two conflicting reviews and conflicting pictures, I took a chance and ordered to see for myself. Unfortunately, the reviewer who said it looks like yellow oak was correct. I actually suspect the caning is more to blame - it’s more yellow than the wood and is pulling those tones out of it. Otherwise it seems to be a pretty, well constructed counter stool. But since it clashes with my kitchen unfortunately I will be returning. Bummer.

Yellow oak

While these are beautiful chairs, the cushion is incredibly firm. The back hwd a nice curve to it but the color of the chairs are not what's pictured. they are a yellow oak, as in 90s yellow and it's not good.

AMAZING!!!!!

Probably the highest quality bar stools in this style that I have seen! Even nicer than the ones from Restoration Hardware! Super high quality, thick seat padding, that is firm and yet soft. They are a little hard to assemble so read the directions carefully so that you don’t damage the chairs. But we’ll worth the effort! I’m definitely in love with these bar stools!
