Q: Are these bags scented?

submitted by ilen - 2 years ago

  • A: Yes! And smell horribly!

submitted byLittleLiebchen - 2 years ago

  • A: They claim they don't add scent but they may absorb scent. Ummmm, I have a hard time with this because the 3 boxes I purchased had a scent, Almost flowery scent and we had to give them all away, they bothered my daughter's allergies.

    submitted byfirechic21 - 9 months ago

  • A: I purchased this product recently at Target and they are absolutely scented. I think one or more runs of these bags were mispackaged. Ilen is correct the fragrance is unpleasant and overpowering.

submitted byLaura - 2 years ago

  • A: These are absolutely scented. No where does it say this on the box but I just bought a box and the outside and inside of the bag is super strongly scented. I have a horrible headache from it

submitted byTess - 1 year ago

  • A: Yes, these are strongly scented. The entire roll is that way.

submitted bywishingforunscented - 1 year ago

  • A: Hi ilen, Thank you for your inquiry. Kindly note we are not adding scents to this product. To maintain odor-free processing, our manufacturing facility routinely checks finished products, but the product sometimes absorbs odors before it reaches you. Regards, Nomzamo

Q: Are these unscented

submitted by BarbWiredStudios - 2 years ago

  • A: Hello BarbWiredStudios We are not adding scents to this product. Beware....they are scented

They aren't marked as scented, but they are. Why would Hefty add a scent to a trash bag meant for heavy duty work.

    Secretly Scented - Terrible

Item was scented despite there being no mention of scent on the box. Figured no mention of fragrance on box and contractor in the title would not be unscented but was wrong. Made our entire car smell horrible and caused us to get headaches after we opened the box. Will be returning them!

For something not marked as being scented, it has nauseating migraine levels of scent.

    Unexpected scent

They work fine, but they were definitely scented and there was no scent specified anywhere on the packaging. They smell like fabuloso, so maybe they accidentally packaged those ones in a regular box? Or they just smell like this and don't bother to label it as such. Definitely not expected.
