Description

The Ello Cooper 22oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle features a soft silicone spout and a locking, leak-proof flip lid to keep the drink surface fully covered during transport. Cooper keeps drinks cold 24+ hours and features 18/8 stainless steel with an ultra-durable powder coat finish that won't chip or rust. CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS Wash before use. Lid is top rack dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning a breeze. While we recommend handwashing the body for optimal longevity, feel free to toss it in the dishwasher if you prefer. All parts are BPA free. Store with lid removed. Do not microwave. Do not freeze your bottle or leave it in your car in freezing weather. Not designed for use with hot or carbonated beverages.

Q: Is the bottle able to be used without the straw?

  • A: I use mine without a straw. I tip it back and suck it down. It's like an adult sippy cup but better! In fact, since I don't have a dishwasher, I feel that the straw would be disgusting after so long.

  • A: I find it incredible that the Ello Customer Support says the bottle can't be used without the straw. OF COURSE IT CAN! Just take off the cap, for Pete's sake, and drink right out of the bottle. (PS. Of all the bottles I've had, I absolutely love this straw!)

  • A: Easily gets dented on the bottom bc there's no silicone "cup" the bottle sits in. Plastic clasp on the lid broke, so the cover won't stay down anymore and I can't take it anywhere because not closed.

My only feedback is I chose because of the color and didn’t realize certain models (the one I purchased) doesn’t have the ability to refill without unscrewing the lid. But everything is great. I chose the 22 oz. And I might choose the larger size next time.

The Great Water Bottle and Future Suggestions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are by far my favorite water bottle of all the options on the shelves. They are durable and keep water cold. The way the cap closes ensures that no germs get on the straw and that the bottle is leak proof. Possible improvements: it'd be nice if the handle could act as a carabiner and click onto clips. Also, for some reason the pink and purple bottles have a smaller opening than the blue bottles. This makes it more difficult to pour water and clean the inside of the bottle. The blue bottle's design is only slightly different but it makes a big difference!

Cooper 22oz is good and not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a couple of issues with this Cooper 22oz. water bottle. The cover takes some extra pressure to lock in place after taking a drink. Perhaps it will get easier over time. Other than that, the bottle is good. Unfortunately it doesn't fit in the cup holder in my Buick Enclave like the description said it would. The bottle is durable, doesn't leak, and definitely keeps the beverage cold as described. Love the paint finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i would almost never return a product like a water bottle but the design on this is, to me, terrible. when you drink from it, the lid is right there, in the way. i also thought the straw made drinking water messy, it was weak, too. i couldn't get a good sip. i took the straw out and tried it without and still didn't like it. i am disappointed because i love my ello coffee travel mug.

Fine, but not as good as the first version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a perfectly acceptable water bottle, but I don't think its as good as the original version. Its kind of hard to gauge how full to fill the water bottle to account for displacement of the lid. I also think its harder to screw shut. Where it does shine in being a leak-free straw water bottle which is hard to achieve. The lock function is also key for preventing backpack leaks.

Great bottle - Lids break constantly

This bottle is almost so good! I love that the sipping part stays covered when my kids throw it in their bag or on the ground at recess. However, the lids break so easily. After buying 3 or 4 replacement lids in under a year, I think I have to get them something else. I’m disappointed- this bottle is so great in every other way, but I can’t keep buying replacement lids every few months just from normal kid use. I wish they could figure out how to make the lids kid proof!

Moldy

I love the design and color of this water bottle and especially love that the lid locks, but after just a few months and frequent cleanings the spout got black and moldy and I am unable to clean it off. I’m so disappointed because I really did love this water bottle.
