Description

ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion.     Sharp and well-balanced

    Knife is sharp and well-balanced. It's easy to hold with two fingers. Retail experience was truly excellent: they even had some vegetables for me to try chopping on the demonstration board.

    Loved it

    I used this knife for the first time, the same day I brought it home. I love the way it feels in my hand. I have some knife skills and know how to hold a knife and the design of this knife feels amazing in my hand. No pressure points like my cheap knives. I look forward to many years of service with this knife.

    Received "Second" quality, Not a Top Pro Quality

    I ordered and paid for a Zwilling Pro Quality knife but received one with a defect that is noticeable by tactile touch and eyesight...the Full Tang jutts out of the Handle on three sides. Was going to show off the New Knife to my family and friends but now we will discuss how Zwilling post production quality inspection control does not match the past reputation of "Made in Germany" standards. Was asked to submit "photos" of the defect for a refund or exchange, but it is hard to capture the defect on my iPhone. The return process should be much more customer friendly because the "defect" is hard to capture on photo but very easy to detect physically. Rather than hassle with the return or replacement claim, I will keep the blade and advise my social circle of this unfortunate experience.

    Love this knife!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this knife. I have arthritic hands and the weight of this is perfect for me. It feels light as a feather but cuts beautifully through everything. As soon as I got it, I used it to chop carrots, celery, potatoes, onions and chicken breasts and my hand never got tired holding the knife. It chopped through everything like I was cutting butter. I am sure this will be my "go to" knife from now on.

    Amazing Knife!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this knife for at least 4 years now and never reach for any other since purchasing. It handles everything with accuracy. It is comfortable to hold and easy to control. It hasn’t required sharpening yet! The blade is still razor sharp which I find amazing. I do protect it with its own cover/guard when not in use. I love this knife!

    If you can only have one knife

    I love this knife for the weight and feel of it. It is on the heavier side and has a large handle large. It is enough for most cutting tasks in the kitchen but not too big as to waste space in the knife drawer or or give you issues handling it while cutting more delicate tasks. Overall highly recommend as as the middle ground for a large 8" chef knife and small 5.5" and you have both rocking cutting style or push cut style.

    You CAN teach old dogs new tricks!
