I’ve had my silver swan since 2004! 20 years! Worth every penny, works great, and it’s beautiful too!

I bought it about a month ago. So far, I love it. The only constructive criticism is that the handle that is used to carry the fan from one room to another is designed poorly. This is not a deal breaker, but I hope the Vornado engineers are listening. The handle is WAY too close to the back of the fan. It need to be set back a few inches so you can get your fingers wrapped around it. Secondly, the handle itself seems a bit 'sharp' and uncomfortable. I'm not sure why they didn't round the edges off. In general, I love this fan.

I bought this fan as I like the style. Upon turning it on it was immediately clanky, rattling and noisy. I couldn't hear the TV at all. The only speed that doesn't rattle away is the highest speed. It is really bad!

I bought two of these fans to get me through the interim period, before AC was really necessary. After receiving the first one, and seeing it perform, I had to order a second one for my guest bedroom. Can’t deny my guests. And, when I turn it to the high setting, it will literally, blow the sheets off the bed.

Love this fan. Great quality and are nice looking. Bought 2 right after Hurricane Harvey and they’re still running great. I keep them on 24/7. This one is slightly larger.

fantastic fan and a great look

We bought this a month ago and are happy with it. It is well designed and sturdy. It is however, louder than expected for a bedroom. Very powerful.

Yes, 20 years with this model and it finally stopped working. We received it as a gift from my parents after we were married. I had it running every night during those 20 years (sleep aid). Some things are still quality made. Time to get another!

I have this model from 2020. It is great, 17" tall overall, oscillates, and sits on the dining room table. WOW! Also I have 2 modern style Vornados, one 10 years old, one 20 years old (fortunately still working). Also one fixed Vornado mid-sized vintage look ivory one atop my desk, 5 years old, doing well. Purchasing 2 more 14" tall oscillating Silver Swan Vintage style Vornados, right now. Better than the expense and hassles of air conditioning in the occasional 90F heat bursts in the Pacific Northwest, USA.

I wanted a classic metal fan like the one I grew up with, and this looks like it’s basically a remake. It’s heavier than most modern fans, and it feel sturdy. It’s quiet, too, which I was worried about. And it looks like a classic. Is it as heavy and solid as the one I remember? No, not quite - and the knobs are lightweight plastic, not the heavy bakelite that lasts for 50 years. On the other hand, it doesn’t smell like burning plastic, so I am calling it a win. I’ve only had it for a month, but sitting on the floor of my home office it has kept me from needing another air conditioner.

The circulation is terrific. When oscillating though a little noisy. the larger model is quiet, odd.

This fan is the most beautiful modern day fan ive ever bought it is so quiet and it even looks better then the original silver swan. I hope Vornado brings back another classic antique fan design. I highly recommend this product if you like antique retro fan designs.

There was dust on fan blades that needed to be cleanrd. Removed circular rim last week and spent better part of my Sunday trying to reattach rim. My fan now sits there. I have reached out to Vornado Help .com site. I will keep you informed We shall see. Not impressed with this at all.

I love the Silver Swan fan. This is my second one—the first one I purchased is at my office; this second one is for my home. It looks great, is sturdy, effective, not very loud. Easy to move around, which I often do. I also like that you can remove the grill to clean the blades, which do get dirty, especially with two fuzzy cats in the house. Just a great fan.

I just replaced my 20 year old Silver Swan fan. It looks great. Works great. I expect it will give me 20 more years of service.
