Target cancelled the order for a drive up pick up order for a technical reason when I was already at the store. The baby gate is in stock in the store.

Great for my baby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation is easy to do. It has a good weight to it, not easy to knock over if installed correctly. It is perfect for me right now as my 11 month old is learning to walk. She is crawling everywhere! So it's easy to keep her from going into the kitchen with this gate. The door is nice and sturdy and overall the gate looks nice.

I love leaving the bedroom doors open to circulate fresh air, but want to keep the toddler and the dog from getting into anything. It has worked great for this purpose. The opening mechanism works great and the whole gate seems sturdy. It wasn’t too hard to put together and maybe took 15 minutes.

Fits large space!

As you can see in the photo, there aren’t a ton of pieces so install is pretty easy and seamless. We used this to section off a room we didn’t want our baby to get into. It was also easy to clean! Very happy.

Baby is safe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I totally would have given this a 5 star had it not been for one thing that really bothers me about the setup on this gate. The piece before the gate goes in to me just why is it apart and not together the like the other side to me it didn’t make sense maybe i am not understanding what the purpose was but other then that it fit perfectly in the space i needed it in as my child is now starting to pull herself up and taking baby steps this will help us contain her into one space where it is most safe for her to roam about. The sturdiness seems pretty good as she is a hefty sized baby and it was holding up against her shaking it and putting her weight against it. All in all only the one concern if i could give half stars id rate it 4 and a half as it was just a minor detail that bugged me about it other then that easy to set up didn’t take to much effort wished it came with something to help line up the fasteners a little bit but i made due with what i had on hand.

Great wide gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic baby gate. We have wide doorways in our Victorian home and always struggle to find the right size. My almost two year old likes to stand and try to hang from the gate. This gate has held up against her attempts. We keep our in the living room but if need be it would be easy to move to a staircase or other doorway. The opening is a little narrow but not hard to navigate at all.

Easy to set up for a peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that our baby started crawling, it was time to child proof the house and the first step was this gate. It was easy to set up following the included directions and looks to be really sturdy. It keeps our baby in our living room even when she tries to stand and climb. The only confusing part was a gap during installation but I didn’t notice the sign that says it’s expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just what we needed! This works perfectly for both your fur babies and human babies. We have a gate that screws into the wall as well but since we live in an apartment, this option helps prevent further damage or manipulation of the wall. Even without being screwed in, it’s still very sturdy and stable. There is an age limit on it which I agree with because if my 3 yr old puts his full weight on it (31 lbs) it will move compared to my 17 lb 9 month old, it’s not going anywhere. Installation took about 15 mins and was very easy. I like that extra pieces are included if you need to extend it so it’s nice to have the option to tailor it to your needs space wise.

This gate is pressure mounted but when tightened, it bows so in order to get enough pressure to close the gate, it bends and the gate will latch at the top but not close at the bottom. It doesn’t latch at the bottom like my other baby gates do so any baby or dog could push the bottom open enough to try to squeeze through and get stuck. We immediately had to take it apart and trash it.

I was in need of something to keep my toddlers out of the kitchen and this gate does exactly that! This gate is strong and secure, but light enough to carry. It was easy to install and took about 20-30 minutes. It fits in standard openings, and can be adjusted making it versatile for doorways and for doorways and hallways. The lock is simple but effective. As you can see it holds up even when my toddler is testing its boundaries.

The only thing is that it is a little difficult to open and close, which neither me or my husband mind much. Keeps the babies off the stairs!
