Pulled up paint
First time we applied film in the house we are in now. Used the competitor’s product several years where we used to live, where all the windows in our mid rise condo were very drafty. In our new-to-us house, only a couple of the windows are drafty, so applied this there. This product is easier to apply because it comes on a roll. However, as you can see, upon removing, the tape pulled up some of the paint from the window molding area where we had applied it. Note the product box clearly states it’s suitable for painted wood. Did not have this problem in our old place with the other product, though to be fair, there much of the tape was applied to metal or vinyl as I recall.

Bad tape!
Very frustrating, the tape did not stick whatsoever. I have sealed windows in the past and it was quick and easy. So much wasted time trying to get the tape to stick. The tape would immediately fall off the wall.

I guess it's better than nothing.
Product is ok but you still can feel the draft come through. It is as thin as plastic wrap.

It works
Pros: it’s thick, and it comes in a roll, so if you have odd size windows or want to do a few smaller windows this is a super nice feature. Cons: the tape it comes with is horrible. Immediately started peeling off, and the back layer was super hard to get off. I used a roll of weather stripping tape to hold it up and that worked much better. Because it’s so thick, you do not have clear view out the window. I also ran the hair dryer over it for quite a while and “wrinkle release” it did not. 4 stars, because I notice a significant improvement in the draft especially since it’s in the negative degrees here. But I do not plan on leaving this up long term as it looks pretty tacky. Also- it’s $8.49 online and 18.99 in store so definitely pay attention. They price matched for me in store, but I could have easily not noticed and paid way too much. This is not worth $18.99.

Not as good as the competition
The good: I like that it comes in a roll, it was easier to cut to the right size that way and handle. It's thick, and the tape is holding up pretty well except in a couple corners. The bad: like others, mine came with a haze that wipes off wherever you touch it, but I didn't notice it until after it was applied to the windows, so I can't wipe off the back side facing the windows. The thickness of the plastic also means it just isn't as clear as 3M's- my view outside is distorted. It took a long time with the hair dryer on high to get it smooth, and a few weeks later, there's already puckering and wrinkles all over. Overall: I've been using window film for years and have gotten really good at installing it- you normally can't see it at all. This one looks bad and I won't buy it again; I didn't even put it on all of my windows this year because I'm embarrassed by how it looks.

Plastic works
Make sure you order online for delivery or pick up because I thought I ordered it online but I forgot. I went to the store and it was $10 more.I ordered on line for the cheaper price.

Wow
First time using the max strength. Thicker plastic than the others. I like that it was rolled instead of folded, makes it easier to instal. Installing always tedious no matter the brand. Clean the frames, alcohol wipe frames. Place the tape. Heat the tape so it sticks. Place the plastic. Blow dry for like 10 minutes to get all wrinkles out. Immediate difference in our living room. I had company who didn't notice the plastic till I pointed it out.

Thicker plastic, but didn't shrink
This was very easy to install, and has a thicker plastic than other brands, but it didn't shrink when heat was applied. Luckily it's easy to cut it exactly to the size you need.

Works great !
This thick plastic does make a huge difference when compared to regular plastic. Easy to install. The supplied tape is sticky and gets the job done. I will continue to buy ! I was able to do 2 regular sized windows and 1 large window with one box

Pretty good
These work great once applied but the installation process is rather time consuming and tedious due to the film being on one giant roll that you have to cut down to size.

Lessened the draft but did not shrink with heat applied
Luckily I measured this pretty close to the exact size of my window, because it did not shrink at all when I applied heat with my hair dryer. It did make the window less drafty, however I previously used a different brand that shrank immediately upon using the hair dryer so I will be using the other brand for my remaining windows.

The only window film I'll use
I’m so impressed with this product. Installation was simple. And it WORKS. I’ve had it up for about two weeks now and the adhesion is incredibly strong. The plastic is durable and easy to work with without being flimsy. On the second day it was up, my cat sliced through a corner to try to get at a bug in the windowsill. I patched it and it’s held up great (and thankfully she hasn’t bothered it since). Honestly can’t believe what a difference it’s made in temperature and catching drafts.

From MN
I purchased three boxes of these! Have never used before. So far my husband installed on two of our windows and it’s crystal clear. Had no complaints from him on the process. Watched him lay the adhesive and plastic wrap and it looked to be pretty easy. I’ll be trying the next window out myself! We have noticed a significant difference in the draft from our windows (old windows that have come with the home - not updated) and also reduction in noise. Highly recommended.

Does not work at all, sadly. Would not stick on at all, keeps falling off. Don’t waste your time or money.

Yucky, Hazy Film
I was excited to see a product that was thicker than Frost King brand. I searched high and low to find 2 of the 62" x 126" kits, for my giant, single pane windows. After installing the film over the first window, I noticed a terrible haze, that looked like very dirty windows. Upon closer inspection, I could see where I touched the film when hanging it. Everywhere I had touched it, has rubbed off this hazy film. I wiped off the outer side of the film with a damp rag and and dried it. A little bit of the haze was removed, but there is no way to clean the other side, now that it has been installed. There are also permanent lines where the plastic was folded and rolled. The hair dryer will not remove these. VERY DISAPPOINTED! This product is not crystal clear, as advertised. I've attached 2 photos. One window has the hazy film on it, and the other window has none.

works, but frustrating to use
Instead of the usual sheets of plastic it's all one giant roll. While it sounds good in theory, the roll slides around so much it's a mess to use. Also I'm not sure the estimated measurements are correct, I measured how much I'd need and according to the box I'd need 2 kits. I didn't even use one. So I guess I won't have to buy more next year.
