I went back and forth between this lamp and another one with a marble base that was more expensive. I'm very happy that I chose this lamp. The marble base, unique sleek shape, gold hue, and even the pull chain, combine to give a subtle elegance to this lamp.

I love this beautiful lamp so much. It's perfect size for a bedside table - not too big but not too small. It was packaged very carefully and arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to put together and looks so classy - I may buy another.

Its a really beautiful golden marble lamp. Looks very elegant and classy. I didn’t realize its a pretty big size, but fits well in our nightstand.

Great bedside lamps that are simple and stylish. Small base takes up minimal room on nightstand. Marble base has a subtle warm golden vein of color running through it that goes well with the gold finish of the lamp. Love the pull down chain as so much easier. to reach when lying in bed. Perfectly happy with these perfectly simplistic lamps!

I am basically obsessed with this lamp. I'll try to write a comprehensive review that includes all the stuff I'd want to know before buying: Likes: The base, solid marble, flawless and luxurious; the geometric design; the velvet on the bottom to keep it from scuffing; the packaging, as nothing came damaged, even the fragile lampshade; the completeness, as it came with an energy-saving, cool-to-the-touch, and bright LED bulb; the pull-chain switch (I find it annoying when switches are on the cord itself); the attention to detail, as the hardware was tied with thin red ribbons; and the cord is a clear plastic rather than a jarring black. Assembly is simple: just slide the harp in the groove (it's just like how you squeeze a safety pin to close it), screw in the bulb, and attach the lampshade/screw in finial. Takes 2 minutes, no fuss. Minor dislikes: The finish on the metal is a bit bronzier than I wanted, whereas the chain and harp/socket are a truer shiny gold color. The mismatch doesn't look bad, but I wish they matched. The chain switch does look a bit cheap compared to the expensive look of the rest of it. I included a pic with a true gold earring to help gauge the finishes. Overall, it's great value. Jonathan Y was an unheard-of brand for me, but I'd definitely try their other offerings if I saw them.
