Perfect brew
Counter Culture's Gradient is our favorite coffee, the only one we buy now. Although it used to be available in our local stores it is no longer, although other Counter Culture coffees are. We order it direct and it is so fresh! Guests in our home always comment in a surprised way that "this is good coffee"!

Terrible delivery service
The product is not the issue and I’m sorry to have to rate it one star to try and get some attention to the matter of how is was delivered. Why any business still uses the USPS is beyond me. Whoever “delivered” this package to me literally threw it on the ground by my mailbox where it sat outside the rest of the day being rained on. If it can’t fit in my mailbox it should be put at my door and not thrown to the ground like garbage. I will not bring ordering anything that needs shipping from Target in the future.

Flavorful coffee
Tried this because it was on sale but now I’m hooked! What a great quality coffee. Great flavor for drip coffee and espresso

Good but $$$
The flavor is good but it is way more expensive to order directly than buy at a store

Excellent dark roast!
Our new favorite beans for espresso. Perfectly roasted each time. Makes for a flavorful pull where you can taste the dark chocolate notes. Highly recommend for those who enjoy a robust cup!

Loving it!
Great taste, just the right balance of that deep coffee flavor with a bit of sour! Makes me enjoy espresso almost as much as a good Capp!

Awesome+Question
Thank you for the wonderful coffee, the best! My next question is out of pure curiosity. I have noticed that the dark roast at Counter Culture resembles medium roast compared with other coffee brands. My friend prefers darker. Is this specific to this coffee style? Thank you so much!

Smooth & strong done well
Everything a wake-me-up coffee should be without the bitterness. More bear hug than face slap. My "go to" dark roast.

Expired Beans-Purchase direct through Gradient
I’ve received numerous shipments and deliveries that have been expired by months. One time is a fluke. Multiple times is not. Gradient seems to be offloading their expired coffee to Target.

Palatable Dark Roast?
Far and away, the best dark roast I have ever tasted. Every other dark roast tastes like burnt oily rancid seeds, this tastes like beautiful coffee!

A bolder Columbian
Due to its somewhat darker roast, this Columbian has a somewhat bolder taste profile than most. I still wouldn’t call it dark though. It’s more like a medium.
