I do not recommend this low quality product. The plastic end caps are cheaply manufactured and difficult to assemble using the snap and shut method which was outlined in the manual. It's so sad to see such potential wasted on low quality parts. Save your fingers and get another product. I was able to assemble it eventually after many close calls of severely pinching/damaging my fingers. Would not recommend it at all if I were to start over.

I purchased this on-line for him and my grandson got to assemble it for my great grandson (pay back?), no. I have a series of e-mail pic's and he seems like he's enjoying it. As far as the star rating, I did not assemble it howevr, if my grandson can, you can, hence my ratings

So glad this little classic is still available. It has good weight and the wheels are a high quality material that grip the floor. This will not be a toy that's passed on in the next garage sale! I'm so glad you still make the Roadster, It's not exactly the same one I bought my 1st grandson 22 years ago, but this one will work just fine for my 1year old grandson.

Very difficult to put together. Not able to complete the task, so unable to give as gift. The wholes do not line up to put the steering wheel on, so gave up.

This is really a piece of garbage! Nothing lines up, you have to adjust the steering to get the axle to fit, it should line up, but not close. Then you have to physically push down on the car to get the screw to start. Then you try to put that back bubble bumper on, it will not line up, one side goes in, the other side doesn’t, then you finally get the two in and then you cannot line the two screw holes in! No matter how hard you push on it, not close, I still haven’t got the screw in, probably going to have to drill new holes and get other hardware. Radio Flyer used to be a quality product, for this amount of money, you shouldn’t have to keep modifying this product, but you do. I’m not sending it back because I’m not taking it apart. A good American made product, I’d finish it in 20 minutes. Two hours later and partially don’t this should give you an idea on this piece of crap, you would think steel, maybe quality, oh no, just a waste of money!

Well made, just some of the holes specifically in the steering wheel didn’t like up so I had to force the screw through.

After a long search I purchased this roadster as a first year birthday gift for a grandchild. It arrived missing an axel. My son notified the company which eventually sent the missing part. He was not able to install it so that the front axel turned from side to side. The vehicle will only move in a straight line, which our grandchild finds very frustrating. One of the reasons we purchased this model was that the child could steer it - that it could turn. Disappointing.

For a year old child, great gift. Can sit on it but prefers to push it around. Well made and no sharp points! Easy to assemble.

It's a very cute toy, aesthetics are great. The material is almost all plastic, the front "grill" is a little flimsy. The front axle and tires were impossible to disassemble once put together so mine now does not have the white spacers that were supposed to go in between. Yes, it's a human error but should be easy to fix! The horn is a little squeaker, could be a better quality 'horn'. All things considered, pricey for what you get. I kept it because didn't want to deal with shipping.

This roadster is so sturdy and well built. Just right for our 1 yr old grandson to ride. His favorite toy. Just about all he plays with!!! Very happy with it!!!!

Bought this for my 1yr old niece and I put it together in no time at all. Super easy directions. Very sturdy car! Everyone loved the look of it!

I bought the roadster for my 20 month old son for the holidays. When it arrived it had missing parts, so I called and they promptly sent what I asked for only to find that they didn’t send ALL missing parts. So I had to make a second call and wait again for the appropriate materials so I could put it together. Ended up giving it to my son late because I was unable to put it together in time. Despite there being scratches and paint chipped in various places, my son enjoys it and it’s very cute. Not a great experience considering the price and it being from a company that has been in business for such a long time.
