Great tubing mascara
I recently learned about tubing mascara and decided to give it a try. I actually use the Essence brand of mascara normally so trying their tubing product was a natural choice for me. This stuff is awesome. It doesn’t flake, smudge or smear, it’s easy to apply and remove without harsh rubbing. I use a warm washcloth and gently wipe to remove. I’m on my second tube.

it doesn’t smudge at all and it doesn’t clump either but if your looking for a lengthing mascara i definitely wouldn’t get this, it doesn’t really add volume either

No smudge but no volume.
This mascara does not smudge which is great that it does what it promises. The only issue is if you have small and thin eyelashes like me. This will not make them look full or even give volume so it does not do much. If you have fuller lashes, then maybe this is for you.

For the price, can't beat it!
Despite the name, this mascara ALWAYS gives me panda eyes 😭. It always smudges or if my eye gets dry and starts to tear the mascara starts running quickly. Don’t be fooled by the name lol. Other than that issue, I’d still recommend it for a pretty good mascara that adds volume to your lashes nicely. For the value, it’s great! and it even comes off really well with just water alone.

I have gone through so many tubes of this mascara, I have it on subscribe and save 3 pack lol. It is a tubing mascara so it doesn't smudge. I love that it's natural bristles and not the plastic ones that are typical of tubing mascaras. It gives so much volume and is buildable so you can focus the last coat on the ends for extra length. I don't really experience clumps BUT this is one of those that is kinda wet at first and gets better with age. Again, lemme stress that it does not smudge or flake! and comes off easily with water, cleansing balm, whatever. Pic is 3 coats (also shout out to essence long-lasting 18+hr eyeliner [the twist-up one!])

So the only thing that seems to be true/stands out with this mascara is that it comes off with just water. (for some reason with baby oil it was a bit harder to get off then just plain water ) Makes me wonder what’s in it lol?! I did not care for the wand. It’s very bulky and you do have to put tons on to even see a difference. Like 2 to 3 coats. I’m not a fan!! as far as the smudging... I haven’t noticed anything drasticly different compared to other mascaras

If you don’t set your makeup around your eyes, this mascara absolutely DOES smudge. I don’t wear much makeup daily; I mostly do my brows and lashes so that was a total letdown especially since I don’t want to buy the expensive brands or wear the harder to remove waterproof formulas (btw Essence’s waterproof formula smudges and isn’t waterproof either 😝). I love the affordability but this doesn’t do what it claims 😫
