Just "ok" - colors will be pastel
Although this gel says it is highly pigmented, I would say that is not the case. I made Royal icing for Christmas cookies and the color was very pastel. I used half a bottle in only 1/3 of my icing mix and it was still very pale, especially the green. I was in a time crunch and the Wilton gel colors I normally would prefer were not available, so I can't say I absolutely wouldn't purchase this again. But be aware that the color will not be as vibrant or dark as shown. It did not affect the flavor of the icing, however, and did very little to change the consistency, so those were both positive.

This was everything I hoped for. The gel didn’t change the texture of the whipped frosting we used. It didn’t have a smell or any strange flavor/taste. 10/10 would definitely recommend this.

Great food coloring for baking!
I used this pack along with some other colors to dye my homemade buttercream for my son's 1st birthday cake/cupcakes and they turned out phenomena! I definitely recommend getting these. Note you have to use a lot to get the colors you want at least in my case.

Terrible
I am a pastry chef and am on hiatus and was out of some of my gel colors from my trusted brand and bought this in a pinch and it was so incredibly disappointing. These colors lack vibrance and good luck getting the red to turn red. I used every trick up my sleeve (including heat) and the formula they use for these gels is shameful. I wouldn’t even sell them, Target.

Vibrant colors
I bought this set of get food coloring to replace my moms food coloring that I used up. You don’t need as much to get the vibrant colors as you would with the liquid food coloring. Also it doesn’t add any more liquid to sometimes already runny icing.

Pastel, not bright
Used entire tube to try to color a small amount of fondant. Every color came out pastel, not bright. The red was just pink. I thought I could save myself a trip to the craft store and use these instead of the Wilton gel food colors but will not make that mistake again.
