Whether you’re whipping up some fried rice, tacos or a creamy curry, this long grain white rice is a classic side dish or ingredient for a variety of your favorite dishes. With 30 ounces of white rice per bag, you’ll have plenty for all your favorite recipes. The rice is certified USDA Organic and non-GMO with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives so you can enjoy fresh flavor every time. Whether you’re cooking dinner for the family or meal prepping for the week ahead, this organic long grain white rice is sure to be a fast favorite.
Directions
1 cup dry rice = about 3 cups cooked
Stovetop
1. Bring water or broth to boil in saucepan. Add butter and salt to taste, if desired.
2. Stir in rice; cover.
3. Reduce heat; simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
4. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
For 4 servings, use 1 1/2 cups of water or broth + 1 cup of rice.
For 8 servings, use 3 cups of water or broth + 2 cups of rice.
Electric Pressure Cooker
1. Combine 2 cups rice and 2 1/4 cups water or broth in 6-qt. electric pressure cooker. Season with salt, if desired. Cover and lock lid closed, making sure steam valve is in seal position.
2. Set to pressure cook on HIGH for 5 minutes.
3. Allow pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes, then carefully turn steam valve to vent position to release remaining pressure. Remove lid and fluff.
Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.

Bugs in Rice
I really liked this rice until I bought a bag that had bugs in it. I reached out to customer support and they made me answer a million questions and a picture and then they asked me to go in store to get my refund since I bought it in store. I told them I threw out the bag and just wanted to get a refund online which is usually really easy if you do drive up. I’m not going to buy this again.

Bugs in rice bag
I got home the same day of purchase and decided to make some rice. After adding water to the rice, bugs floated to the surface. I checked the bag and it was filled with small bugs and tiny brown specks. The bugs couldn’t be seen without adding water, so be aware of that when purchasing.

Great quality rice
Really flavorful rice. And not heavy with starch. I always wash my rice prior to cooking and this one had very little to no starch ( easier on the tummy to digest) love that it’s organic and hopefully not high in arsenic. Fluffs and absorbs liquid beautifully

I make it in the Instant Pot on High for 4 minutes, then steam release after 10 minutes. Makes perfect, delicious white rice every time. And I know, brown rice is more nutritious, but there are just some days we don't want to wait around for the brown. Plus, white rice never goes rancid.
