Great value
My kids love this. We just use it like regular granola on yogurt. Great bang for the buck!

Price is now more than twice what it was
Why did the price increase by three dollars? I just bought this box for $2.99 two weeks ago and it was not on sale. That was the normal price so why did the price more than double???

Admit it's greatly changed
What is this burnt, awful cereal? What have you done to a once tasty cereal?

Pay attention to what you’re eating!!!
I used to really like this brand of granola, but then I realized while I thought I was careful about ingredients I apparently had missed something extremely significant about this horrible product. Nutrition claims are wonderful but at the same time this buzz word and that buzz word don’t add up to diddly if you realize you’re eating the equivalent of a candy bar. You know, quaker oats – oops, I actually realized I should be saying Pepsi…… one piece of garbage product can affect your whole marketing line. Shame on you for marketing something this loaded with sugar and making claims that it’s healthy!

Muesli (common Swiss cereal)
this has become my favorite all/any time cereal; although, I usually find myself dining at 7:00 p.m., this dish has become my absolute favorite food, which is composed of healthy ingredients, i.e., oats. almonds and honey++, to which I add blueberries with 2% milk. The taste and crunchy texture balances well and doesn't become primordial soup. This is a hidden Jewel. (kindly remain quiet)

Bitter
Many years ago, I bought Quaker 100% Natural Cereal, one of the first granolas in the 1970's, and it had a recipe for apricot squares on the box, which I cut off and still have. I made them many times in those years. I loved them and finally yesterday googled if Quaker 100% Natural Cereal still existed since I hadn't seen it on the shelves for years. The search said that Quaker 100% Natural Cereal was now called "Simply Granola", so I went to the store and bought a box with oats, honey, and almonds. I came home and used your recipe from the '70's, and I was very disappointed. The squares tasted bitter, and it wasn't overcome by 1/3 cup of brown sugar in the recipe. I then tried a little of the cereal that I had not put in the crust, and it was bitter as well, so it is definitely the cereal, not the fruit filling. You might want to look into correcting this. Something is wrong, and I see a lot of bad reviews here for the Simply Granola. Also, please ask your Kitchen Dept to put out the apricot squares recipe again, online or on a box, when they get the problem with the crust, the cereal's bitterness, corrected. Thank you.

Coconut!
Coconut is not listed as an ingredient, but is included in the list of “contains.”. I can taste sooo much coconut, which i does not agreee with me or my tastebuds.

Not a fan
No one in our house likes this. We are not new to good granola and I thought we would try a different brand just to have something new. It has an old frying oil smell to it and the almonds taste either old or scorched when toasted. It tastes just as strange.

WHAT HAPPENED??
What happened?? I just bought my first box today after not being able to get a hold of it for two years, either because of the recall or it never being on the shelves it was so popular. When I was in the grocery store today there was a bunch of boxes on the shelf… Now I know why this is absolutely terrible. The way the cereal recipe has been changed from what it was! I will never purchase this again. It was such a good cereal before.

Why can't we have nice things?
There's not much I can say that other commenters haven't already said, so I will just add my disappointment. Used to be my favorite cereal, now I will no longer buy it. Tastes terrible and gives me gas.

Legacy tarnished.
Why would you change a flagship product so dramatically that all one has to do is open the box to know it's not the same delicious product we've enjoyed for decades.

Some changes don't work
Used to love this cereal..... but now it isn't as good and actually upsets my stomach. I was researching to see if they changed the recipe, and they did. I would suggest very strongly to go back to the legacy recipe cause this one isn't as good.

Recipe change is awful
Quaker Oats has ruined this product. Fewer clusters (basically none), less flavor, even the appearance (darker) is less appetizing. Quaker Oats-don’t fix something that isn’t broke! Saving costs—probably, but losing loyal customers. I won’t buy it again.

My fav!!
This is by far my favorite granola, but I developed diverticulosis and shouldn't eat nuts. Do you have a variety without nuts?

Adios to a great cereal.
I “was” a fan for years of your Simply Granola Oats, Honey & Almonds. Will not be purchasing it in the future. I’m in complete agreement with the low rating comments. Almost no clusters, much darker, tiny oat bits, and major disappointment in the “new” flavor. Adios to what was a great cereal.

You have changed the recipe and it is burnt.
Been eating this stuff for a lot of years and you all have changed the recipe. You are burning it now and not only has it changed the taste it changed the consistency. I thought it had to be a batch but nope it is normal now. Ask the people that have been working there making this stuff for years. It was perfect and per usual someone makes a decision that brings an end to a long relationship.

Recipe has been changed and a great product Ruined
Like others posting here, I used to LOVE this cereal. The first couple boxes I got after the recall were okay, but this latest box was SO disappointing! They changed the recipe and apparently went with cheaper ingredients, cut way back on the almonds, and coated the cereal with something. It used to look “dry” like Cheerios, and now it looks like “Honey Nut Cheerios.” I won’t be buying it anymore.

How to kill a good product!
1 star because I can’t go lower! Quaker granola used to be my favorite. I am not going to buy it anymore. The product was modified beyond recognition! It’s hard to chew, bland and spoils very fast. Very disappointed!
