Australian Gold Sunscreen Lotion - SPF 50 - 8 fl oz

I have used Australian Gold for years and absolutely love it! My only complaint is that more stores don't carry it.

This product protects well against the sun and lasts. It also smells great and feels silky on my skin.

This should NOT be labeled as unscented. The ingredients on the bottle pic list fragrance. Please fix this Target!

I bought this 4 days ago and I'm already in love. I can't spend a minute without this sunscreen lotion on my body. the texture and feel of it in general are beautiful. I cant imagine my life without this product. this great-tasting, smelling treat satisfies all my needs. im delighted every time i use this beautiful product.

Absolutely horrid. Has an extremely strong fragrance that I’ve grown to hate. Leaves my skin with a shiny, oily look. And to add insult to injury, it leaves some kind of weird, gross residue. If I rub my skin later in the day it starts coming off in small clumps

I love how quick drying this sunscreen is and the light scent. I’m trying this one out since Hawaiian Tropic has started stinging my skin—don’t know why my skin has turned on HT when that lotion works great but whatever—and leaving my skin felt too oily. Australian Gold is a great alternative. It’s not as oily—all sunblock is oily in some way—as HT, it doesn’t sting, and the smell is awesome. I would warn anyone who gets headaches from strong scents to avoid this product. However, if you don’t mind strong scents, then it’s fine. It has a tropic fruit punch smell which makes me happy, and it dies down quickly so it’s not so punchy (pun intended) throughout the day. The white cast isn’t too bad as it absorbs into the skin instead of sitting on top—however, I can see this product causing folks with deeper skin tones some issues with white cast. I haven’t tried this product under makeup so I don’t know if the white cast can be dialed back or not. I’m a shade up from printer paper and this sunscreen has protected my skin really well. Plus it has aloe and tea tree oil in it, so my acne prone skin is happy too!

I forgot sunscreen on a cruise and was at the mercy of what was in the overpriced gift shop. I was grumpy that I paid $17 for it, but I’m willing to say it was worth it. We recently went to Holiday World and they had it as their “free sunscreen”. All day at a water park (applied twice) and never burned. Definitely got tan lines, but it is not a burn.

I love the smell and how it goes on so smooth. It blends in perfectly with skin. I’m definitely buying more soon!!

Bought a couple of bottles of SPF50 sunscreen last year and was truly amazed. There was no greasy feeling and had a pleasant smell. Worked well at protecting for long periods of time. Ordered several bottles for this year, for the boat and home.

I burn walking past an open refrigerator. I spent the month of July outside at my son’s lacrosse games and never burned. Never. Not once. I applied this holy grail of SPF 50s before leaving at the crack of dawn, never reapplied during the day, returned in the evening exhausted, hot and sweaty, but not burned! Oh-it doesn’t smell like coconuts. A total bonus! (As if it needed one)

bought this sunscreen for my husband because he does not care for the bronzers (which I personally love)! Since I was the one applying this on his back, he loved the way it felt - lightweight and not thick at all! We were in Mexico, and on our previous trips we have burned when we used other sun care products - this time was the first time we came back with nice glowing tans, with no flaky or peeling skin. The SPF 50 was plenty for a full day in the sun, with maybe 2 applications daily. Smells wonderful!

This is the only brand of sunscreen our family uses. Because of medication a 50 coverage is needed for a family member. It works, stays on, easy to apply, and no irritation to skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First tried in Hawaii in 1995. Never burned, felt soothing. Bought it by the case when I got back and kept it on my boat and at the pool. Friends loved it but it wasn't available in Texas. I ordered it direct from the wholesaler in Florida and gave it to them. Tried several others since but had to come back. Taking a supply to the Virgin Islands in August (couldn't find it there on our last trips).

I am very light skinned so need to be careful with sun rays. Spf 50 is the best we have found. Have recommended this lotion to several friends and relatives.

My daughter has porcelain skin and when she told me she was going to spend the day at the beach I panicked but remembered I had some Australian gold sunscreen at home and told her to use it. She came home and had no sunburn whatsoever. It's the only thing she now uses and do I.

Best sunblock out there. Worked on the Caribbean sun, mountains of Peru, and the scorching Tx heat. Got introduced to it on a cruise and never looked back. I use SPF60 through all seasons of the year and my skin is clear without sunspots.
