Newair® 18" Portable Floor Fan

Just received my item today and it’s great, powerful fan even when it’s set on low and well built also, very happy with this purchase… would highly recommend! 👍

Great things about this fan-very powerful, even on lowest setting moves a lot of air. I use another window fan to bring cool air in (when it's cooler outside, of course) then use this Newair fan to move the hot air out. When weather conditions are right, this cools down the space very quickly. I feel confident the fan will last (this is summer #2), and the grill comes off for cleaning. The only negative-and this is mitigated by putting a nonslip mat underneath-is that because it is so powerful, the fan "skates" around on the hardwood floor, but, easilty addressed. The good performance of this fan led me to purchase a portable ac unit from this company this year (will do a separate review for that). One mention, a hd fan like this makes some noise-does not bother me, but is to be expected.

It's quiet and smooth, for an inductee fan it throws off some serious wind. The fan is well balanced, none of that weird "droning" sound found in cheap plastic HD fans. I purchased two for the warehouse and then another two about one week later.

In the garage or in the house this fan moves a lot of air! Also excellent for quickly drying a recently mopped floor or damp raingear, we love finding uses beyond cooling us down. Fyi it moves more air than the Vornado fans we've bought at a better price point. Considering another of the same model or even a larger unit in the future.

I did a lot of research after buying a cheapie box fan from big box store that I promptly returned. It's not too loud for the amount of air it throws. All three speeds are just right, plus I was sold on the ball bearings it has rather than sleeve bearings. Very impressed overall.

Very few times do you come across a product that exceeds your expectations and this fan does just that. I got this fan to help circulate the air in my garage after i intalled a portable air conditioner and it works fantastic. Its so powerful thaat i have to put a sandbag on the base to keep it from moving around on the hard garage floor. It works great and i plan on getting snother for my patio.
