This wooden chess set with a beautiful Walnut wood veneer conveniently folds for easier storage and travel. The Staunton style pieces and board are also magnetized making it a joy to play outdoors in windy weather or anywhere you may need some help keeping the pieces in place. The inside of the folding board is lined with felt to protect the pieces that are stored within. The magnetic chess pieces are light and dark wood with felt bottoms. Makes a lovely gift and a family heirloom.
