Poorly designed brackets
The brackets on these shelves don't fit onto 16" studs. And the screws didn't go into the holes that were made to secure the shelf to the wall. The shelf was hanging off the wall. Very poorly designed, although they would've looked nice if they actually were made good..

Problem Securing Shelf
I put one shelf up only to discover that the hole in the bracket does not line up with the hole in the bottom of the shelf so that the screw can be used to secure the shelf. It's not an easy fix to just take the shelf down now that we've placed drywall anchors into the wall. It's a nice except for this big issue.

decorative shelves
These shelves are OK; slight defect in finished edge; uneven. Main problem for me was the inability to align with studs and center in the space. Had to resort to a custom made product. I do think these are a bit heavy to rely upon drywall anchors. Otherwise they are Ok for the price
