Dritz Large Sewing Basket with Metal Handle: Cotton Storage Case, Sewing Kit Organizer, 12"x7"x8", Travel Size

This was much cuter than I expected. Soft blush floral printed fabric exterior with a cute tape measure detail and a magnetic closure. It also has an organizing tray inside, a pocket and a built in pin cushion. I am looking forward to getting all my mending supplies and threads into one place instead of having them spread all around the house.

This is a very nice sewing basket; however, the snap closure does not align very well with the recessed closure that holds it in place and keeps it shut. The snap closure does not have aesthetic appeal as, while it achieves its function of keeping the basket closed, it is crooked and about 3/8 of an inch off. In spite of that one little flaw (that makes the basket uniquely mine (lol), I love this basket. It has more room than my old basket (which is probably over 30 years old) and I really like that the tray insert is hard plastic. My old basket has a tray insert that is soft plastic (the density of the plastic is comparable to the plastic used to encase a chocolate Easter bunny within its cardboard box). My old basket's tray is frayed on the edges, but, amazingly, is still functional, but I like this NEW tray in my new basket much better! Love this sewing basket!

Not only is this basket adorable, it's extremely well made!
