St. Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Daily Firming Lotion - 6.7oz - Ulta Beauty

Awful, I used the old gradual tan tinted for years, loved it was an amazing easy tan to use, I am gutted it has changed as it was perfect never went wrong, this however is utter rubbish, i do not find it moisturising, it soaks in way to fast and has dried before you even Had chance to spread it which leaves it patchy and streaky, don’t fix what’s not broken, I will be trying another brand, sorry st tropez this is an epic fail, very disappointed.

This is the worst self-tan I have ever purchased. The awful green colour doesn’t turn to a glowing tan after several hours…..it remains green as if I have been wading through algae!!

I previously used the old formula, which l found to be absolutely brilliant, but this new formula is awful and difficult to wash the muddy green stain off my hands! l will never buy again! unless they go back to the original formula .CAN I HAVE MY MONEY BACK PLEASE!!!

Gifted by St. Tropez oh my gosh I will definitely be using this in the future maintaining my face so much easier the blend is nice. The color is nice. It doesn't smell like fake tan. Definitely will recommend to be using it in the future.

Emerald green & turned my skin that same color. I bought this as well as the neck & have lotion. The difference in color of the 2 lotions is startling (emerald green vs beige.) Smells fine - will not use, do not recommend.

I fully understand the comments complaining about the weird green color but I believe it's because there's actual marine algae in this formula. Marine algae is amazing for shedding water weight off skin which makes the skin appear more firm with less cellulite. I use straight marine algae powder in my Epsom salt baths to produce the same effect and my entire bath water turns GREEN. I look like I'm taking a swamp witch bath but come out with significantly less water weight overall. I love the added marine algae in this product because it works. The tan it gives my extremely fair skin is worth it. Too strong of a fake tanner and I look like an oompa loompa. I bought the st. tropez classic mousse tan at the same as the daily lotion and it's still unopened because I tried the lotion first and fell in love. I would recommend this for fair skin and it lasts for 2-3 days. It fades away extremely smooth and helps me achieve darker skin without compromising the integrity of my fair skin. I am 35 and everyone thinks I'm still in my twenties. Sun damage is no joke and I've religiously applied sunscreen for years even when being ridiculed by countless people for having white skin and needing to wear sunscreen. I'm so grateful St. Tropez has perfected a sunless tanning agent. Thank you Ulta!

I bought this on holiday and left it behind after one use. I was covered in green gunk. I So was the towels and the bathroom. I was so disappointed with this product. Feel it should be discontinued.

this is the perfect solution for when you're looking for a bronzing lotion that provides immediate bronzing while establishing a gradual tan. Yes it can wash off if you walk out in the rain and might be able to tell at the end of the day that you wore it if you wear white, but the immediate glow is wow. Always get compliments. Even better is that it smells soooooooo good!!! It's part of my routine skin care products !!!

The old product was my best kept secret for glowing skin and idk what happened to it! Itssp much cheaper looking and doesnt look nearly as good or natural!

Used the product for years. And now it’s totally different. Stained my nails and finger tips almost instantly. Throwing it away.

Have been using for some weeks now and absolutely love the product. It leaves instant natural sun-kissed healthy glowy look and gradually builds darker tones. Not very deep moisture for my thirsty skin, but still OK. They recommend to use it with mitten but I prefer bare hands - though hands may look scary brown-greenish st first, I haven’t had any issues washing it off. Also, it does not leave any streaks even if I havent scrubbed the skin prior application.

I ALWAYS get compliments on my tan and asked what products I use whenever I use this! It is the perfect olive based tan that won't leave you orangey or streaky! The color goes on greenish (wouldn't recommend wearing it out if the house before rinsing it off) but the tan doesn't look green at all once it has been rinsed off. I always apply with a st tropez mitt so as not to stain my hands, and also after exfoliating and shaving. I do like that this has a tint to it so you can see where its applied that way you dont miss any spots. However the only downside to it having a tint is that if you have white bed sheets it will tint those too if you sleep with it on😂. This product is also buildable if you want a deep deep tan. I'm really shocked to see so many negative reviews because this has been a lifesave for me when im pasty🫡

Oh. My. Word. Skip this product. This is the worst self tanner I have ever used. It requires a mit to apply and essentially turned every hair follicle on my leg brown. It looks like some disgusting skin disease. I’ve used the daily tanner watermelon without issues. This version ain’t it. SKIP!

This firming body lotion used to be one of my very favorite summer products. My arms and legs looked toned and glowing every time I used it. But I was ready to return the latest tube I bought to the store, assuming this muddy mess had gone bad or something. Instead of a tanned glow it looked like my legs were covered in dirt. Then I saw all these reviews describing the exact same experience. Why would they change and ruin such a great product??? So bummed about this...

This lotion was easy to apply/ applied smoothly and blended without a mit, but after more than 12 hours on my body it still transferree onto bed sheets at night. Returned product to store.

I have used the old version of this for years on holiday (as I don’t tan naturally at all and pool water takes off the mouse). I used to put a bit on each evening before heading out and it gave an instant natural glow. This new version is horrible! It’s a dark black/green and looks awful. Not something you could put on to go out in public. I don’t understand why you have destroyed what was a brilliant product? I won’t be buying again and am now on holiday looking very pale :(

I orded this thinking that it would be slightly tinted. So that it's easier/quicker to blend. It was very green on my snow white skin. My hands and leg still look like they are covered in dirt. So disappointed with this product. I have used St. Tropez before and really enjoyed. Returned this first chance I had.
