Curology Micellar Water Makeup Remover, Cleansing Gel-Water Concentrate - 8.5 fl oz: Face, Blemish And Acne Treatments, Normal Skin

This is the BEST makeup remover ever. The instructions say to use a cotton pad to remove, but I don’t! I use this in the shower and it works so well. I usually pour some in my hand, rub it together, and then rub all over my face and eyelashes to remove mascara. I think this is why it doesn’t burn my eyes like other reviewers have mentioned. I swear it melts my makeup off!!! After I use this and rinse, I’ll go in with my Cerave foaming cleanser. My skin was breaking out so bad, but I stumbled upon this to double cleanse with and it truly is the only thing that works for me. I hope curology never discontinues and I hope Target starts carrying this in stores again!!!!

I received a sample size and after using it two or three times have thrown it away, it says it's for cleaning eye makeup but every time I use it it burns my eyes horrendously and hurts for an hour or two afterwards! I just had to flush my eyes with both saline and water and my eye is extremely red and irritated! There is no reason a micellar makeup remover should burn this bad. I'll stick to my garnier brand!

I tried this the first time with the entire package from the original website works great I have a small bottle an at home size whivh I didnt even know they made till target. It clears my skin. I've never had any eye burning at all. Are people pouring it in their eyes ? Lol. I don't wear much eye make up at all ill say though, but I do wear foundation on my face and do mask and small exfoliating on my face an no issue . Guys maybe read instructions and you'll be okay. I just used it tonight no burning.

My favorite makeup remover. Love the packaging and spout. I have the smaller sizes for travel and the large for at home. It removed all my makeup with ease, even waterproof based!

Burns, made my eyes swollen shut. Highly do not recommend.

This burned the bejeezus out of my eyes. I’ve never been sensitive to makeup removers or eye creams but my eyes were burning and bloodshot for hours after using this. I honestly tried it a second time thinking it was a fluke, or the pad had something else on it- nope! It’s this makeup remover. I rinsed my face in the shower like one of those eyewash stations in a chem lab until I was able to open them semi-normally. I LOVE the Curology line and use just about everything else but this one product is a hard pass.

Also had the experience of burning my eyes. I thought I was allergic to it, but it seems to be a common issue. I gave it 3 stars because it works well, but does burn eyes.

Made my skin sting really badly

Not sure why people are saying that this burns their eyes. I have acne/eczema prone and oily skin and this doesn’t leave my skin feeling too dry or irritated. It’s gentle and I’ve been using this for years now, and it takes all my makeup off without being too harsh

This burned my eyes SO BAD. Very painful and scary. Would not recommend - says “opthamologist tested” but I guess maybe its not ophthamologist RECOMMENDED.

I don't know how this is eye-safe. It burns like crazy. It even burns my eyelids when I pass over them more than once. But it does work well in terms of removing makeup.

I LOVE this makeup remover so much!! I’ve only ever used neutrogena make up wipes which are so bad for you but I could never find something really good that I liked. With this I will just take a cotton round and lightly spread it all around the round with a pretty thin layer and then since it’s a gel, I use the tip of the bottle the just spread everything around even more. Doing that helps it soak into the round more and keeps me from putting a huge glob on my face. I saw others have had issues with is burning their eyes but I feel like I really have not had this problem. Very rarely I will maybe get a little bit in my eye and it does kinda sting but I feel like it’s very easy to prevent this from happening, so personally it’s not an issue I struggle with. I also love this because I feel like a little bit goes a long way and I have used it quite a few times and I still have so much left. Like there’s hardly any gone. This will definitely end up lasting me a long time. I’m so excited to have finally found a makeup remover other than make up wipes that works so well. Rubbing my face with makeup wipes felt really rough on my face and I feel like it was a cause of all the dryness I experience with my skin. Since this remover is a gel it feels very hydrating and you don’t have to worry about washing off an excess, it will just soak into your skin. Another plus is it is always cold when I use it so it’s has such a nice “cooling effect” on my face. I know this isn’t for everyone and some people really don’t like it, but personally, I could not recommend it more!! I absolutely love it!!

this is my favorite micellar water! it's a gel consistency that i personally like better because i can put it directly on my fingers to rub it over my face without wasting any cotton rounds and it takes all of my eye makeup right off. it also lasts me a long time. i love it.

I have been using micellar water as a makeup remover for years and have never tried one so bad. It made my eyes burn like crazy when I tried to remove my eye makeup, and it didn’t even take off my mascara. You have to put a lot on a cotton pad or it doesn’t glide over the skin, just pulls. Awful, go for one of the many other better brands.

I love curology but this BURNED MY EYES. It was not gentle and I threw it away.

Really wanted to like this product but at first I was taken aback by the texture. I personally like just regular micellar water but it was gel-like, which I misread the bottle upon initial purchase which was my fault. Told myself I could get over that, but I used it to take my mascara off and it burned my eyes like crazy. They burned for about 30 minutes after even after using eye drops. Extremely disappointed as I thought this product would be safe to use around the eyes.

only micellar water that is without fragrance, doesn't need rinsing, doesn't irritate my skin, and doesn't cause fungal acne. i'll be ordering a ton more of this.

This makeup remover is AMAZING! I had received it for free a while back when I started using curology but wow! And now target carry’s it! I’m so excited I can just pick it up on my target run now. I was used to only use the neutrogena (sorry if I misspelled that) wipes bc that’s all that would successfully take off my mascara but I’m never going back to wiped this stuff is waaaay better and gentle too
