A: Thank you for your question about the Ingenuity InLighten Soothing Swing - Van the Elephant! Seat pad – Remove from frame. Fasten buckles on seat restraint and seat pad. Fasten all hook-and-loop patches to the corresponding patch. Machine wash with cold water, gentle cycle. No bleach. Tumble dry, using low heat.

If you enjoy unpredictable chaos, surprise sound effects, and technology that hates sunlight—this swing is for you. Bought it brand new, and it came preloaded with attitude. First quirk: it refuses to work with normal charger blocks. You’d think a premium baby swing would come with the one block it likes. Nope. But the real villain? The touch screen controls. Someone really said, “You know what babies love? Accidental noise and motion.” These buttons are so sensitive that a strong breeze or a rogue sunbeam can turn the swing off, crank up the lullabies, or summon the ghost of Beethoven at full volume. I watched my baby go from peaceful nap to wide-eyed panic thanks to “touch-sensitive technology.” We miss our old swing—the one with reliable buttons and no emotional issues. Sadly, it’s discontinued, just like common sense in baby gear design. Take my advice: no matter how low they price it, skip this stress swing. You’ve got enough to manage with a newborn—don’t add haunted furniture to the mix.

Lots of settings. Baby loves it. Was debating on giving 3 or 4 stars because apparently for $150, you do not even get a power adapter. They give you a USB cord and expect you to get your own wall adapter. CHEAP MOVE. It also warns you that it needs to be 5V. So you can’t even use one that you have laying around the house. This is absolutely ridiculous and probably a safety hazard. Not good for a baby supplier.

The swing speed is uncontrollable. No matter which setting I place it on, it automatically goes to FULL SWING with my 2 month, this is very UNSAFE!

Bought this for my grandchild before he was born. When he was able to sit in it he liked it . Rocker only worked for 2 days.

I likes the size and quality of the swing. It feels sturdy without being too heavy. My baby is “spoiled” and doesn’t like to be put down, but she actually settles in this swing 😩 it’s such a lifesaver when I have things to do or just need a little mommy break. The mobile spins and lights up and it catches her attention. There are preset sounds loaded up: white noise, nature sounds, and music on the speaker. Overall really nice quality for the price point. The elephant is also verrrry cute! Weight limit is 35 pounds so she has a bit of time to use it.

I received this for my baby shower loved it because the elephant however the straps do not adjust and my baby was already born 8 pounds so it was very tight leaving him marks! I figured maybe if I adjust it back it’ll be better NOPE! I took this swing down so fast I absolutely do not like this swing and do not recommend it! It is a safety hazard how tight it is on a newborn or any child if that.

My 3 month old baby loves the lights function mobile. He will laugh at it. "DO NOT" lean onto the swing. It is made of plastic on the bottom, and it can break off, causing damage to the baby and a broken swing that can't be fixed.

The straps are not adjustable so if your baby is about 9lbs and up they will fit so snug it left my baby marks I do not recommend this swing at all! It's very cute the elephant but it will be going back! As you can see in the pic only 9lbs 2weeks old the strap was left open because it would not adjust did not fit and I didn't want to force it and hurt him

Hate this swing! Swings to slow, came all scratched up, now of course out of warranty and stopped swinging because the piece that holds the bar with the swing attached under the cover broke in half. Definitely want to get an older swing that actually works. My son hates this swing. Yes, I am going through the company to figure out how to get the part to fix but I know what out of warranty means, I spend more $

This swing was a lifesaver to help soothe our newborn. She falls asleep so fast on the swing once we know she’s tired but won’t falls asleep on her own. The assembly instructions were a little hard to follow but other than that no issues with the swing.

Overall, we are happy with this swing, but there is one complaint that we have. The sound does not stay on and there is no way (at least not one that we can find) to stop the sound from turning off. We put our 4 month old in the swing to nap and as any parent knows, it's not always easy to get him to nap, and it is very frustrating when he is finally asleep and the sound turns off and he wakes up. I don't understand why there isn't an option to have the sound stay on until we turn it off.

We had to exchange the pink one we got on our registry due to broken pieces. We got this one because they had it in store. It has scuffs on the mirror part but I couldn’t be bothered to do another exchange. Also no wall plug in is provided and putting it Together isn’t difficult just annoying
