Love the pot. This is our second one. I don’t like the way Target ships it. They don’t put enough packaging in the box. The first one we ordered this time came with a broken lid. I’m surprised this survived. I heard the FedX guy drop it on the porch.

DO NOT BUY! The glass lid just burst into pieces all over my stove while cooking some soup. Food gone to waste. The lid seemed fine just too thin for cooking. Closed pot and 4 mins later popped and glass went everywhere.

High Quality Stock Pot
This is a well designed, high quality stock pot. The quality of the glass cover is excellent, and there is a small, circular vent built into it. I used it to prepare lasagna noodles and they cooked quickly and evenly. I have a gas stove and used the highest setting to boil the water and noodles. In the product description the handles are described as 'Stay-cool' but when the noodles were ready to be removed from the stove, the handles were hot to the touch. I would advise using pot holders, especially when using this stock pot for cooking at high temperatures.

Great pot, perfect weight
I couldn’t be happier with this large pot. Large enough to double recipes of soups and stews. Great for cooking a whole chicken. It comes with a glass lid so I can watch my food. Cleans easily. Good product.

Well made, sturdy and the perfect size for my stews, soups and meal prep needs.
We make a lot of soup, stews as well as prepping meals ahead of time and the Figmint 8qt Stainless Steel Tall Stock Pot is just the right size for the task. I could not believe how well make this stock pot is, and it is heavier than my other stock pots. It is made of fully clad tri-ply stainless steel construction which will last me for many years to come. It is compatible with my glass top stove, Oven safe as well plus it has a stay cool stainless steel handle and BPA free! I highly recommend this product.

Excellent quality and heavy duty should last for a long time
This is an incredibly well made heavy duty and durable stock pot. The side walls are tall and the handles are very secure and the top is very well made with a nice little vent. I use this to make some homemade soup and it was a great experience didn't have any issues with splashing or spillover. The stainless steel got a little discolored with use but nothing a little vinegar can't take care of. Excellent quality

Look out for sharp burrs!
So, I wash my pots by hand. The first time we used the pot, while washing it, I sliced my finger on a burr on one of the rivets on the handle. The other handle has a similar burr, but not quite as sharp. Check those rivets before buying!!

Found residue after throughly washing it (brand new) no cooking has been done WASH IT WELL USE A PAPER TOWEL WIPE THE RESIDUE and my concern is that I looked up how they are made and I’m not sure if this is part of the residue or maybe there should be a label letting us know that there may be residue from the way that the product was made, I hope my health won’t be at risk as a consumer using this product.

The pot is beautiful, solid, and sturdy. The lid was dented in in certain spots. I haven’t cooked in it yet so I’m not sure if this will effect how it cooks.
