Newair® 51-Bottle 19.5" Black Freestanding Wine Fridge

Purchased one of these in December of 2024. Made a really strange sound coming from the compressor. Newair was great to work with and sent a second one. Now this one which only gets used 6 months out of the year is making loud noises again from the compressor. Very loud. Love the look of this just wish they put better compressors in these beauties.

I have two other wine refrigerators, relatively the same size, and was excited to get this new one that I hoped would be quieter since the others are at least 6 years old now. This new one is significantly louder than my older cheaper ones. Moved it into a different room, as far away from the living space as possible, but I still hear it. Will give it a few days to see if I get used to it. it's a good thing the site doesn't allow you to record video for upload. Also arrived with a dent on the top of the unit. The dent doesn't show as much because it's black. Overall, disappointed that this is not working out well. The quality is just not that good, although it looks very impressive.

It holds all of our bottles of wine perfectly and keeps them chilled at the right temperature. This is definitely a great investment for wine lovers!

Love this wine cooler. The cooler itself is awesome, it keeps my drinks at the perfect temperature. I really enjoy the lighting feature as well, beautiful blue lighting option inside the fridge. Great investment!

I love my NewAir Shadow Series Wine Fridge (NWC051BK00. The most import reason I like it is that it keeps my wine at the perfect temperature. Reds, white, sparkling...they can all be chilled appropriately. Other reasons I like it include the sleek styling, the double-layer tempered glass door to help keep things cool but more importantly, that same smokey mirror glass complements my kitchen decor and resists smudges and fingerprints. That cuts down on how often I have to clean the glass. Win win for me! On another note, I had a couple of questions during setup so I emailed customer service. They quickly passed it along to Charles Trapp, the customer service rep, and he responded in minutes with the information I needed. Literally...minutes. I was surprised and well pleased. Never have I had a company reach out and respond so quickly. If you're looking for a wine refrigerator, I encourage you to look at this one.
