Description

Nature’s answer to gentler infant digestion.

Hi, we’re Kendamil - proudly family-owned and crafted in Europe since 1962. For over 60 years, our team has been dedicated to raising the standards for infant formula with our signature recipes.

Kendamil Goat Infant formula is a naturally gentle formula for babies with sensitive digestive systems. Made with goat milk instead of cow’s milk, goat milk predominantly contains A2 beta-casein proteins, which match the proteins found in breast milk and have been shown to be easier to digest for sensitive babies. The A2 proteins in goat milk form smaller, softer casein curds, promoting gentler digestion. For infants experiencing digestive discomfort such as constipation, gassiness, and reflux, using goat milk formula may reduce the likelihood of these symptoms occurring, making it a natural alternative for infants with sensitive tummies.

Whole milk fats and lactose replace palm oil, soy, and corn syrups while creating a naturally creamy formula closer to breast milk and wholesome by nature.

Our award-winning formulas meet the highest standards for infant formula set forth by Europe and the United States, guaranteeing exceptional quality for your family.

Certified Vegetarian

Always consult with your healthcare professional if you have concerns that your infant is suffering from Congenital Lactase Deficiency.

Q: my daughter currently uses Kendamil Goat and they are out of stock everywhere in my area, would it be ok to substitute to Kendamil Organic?

submitted by Substituting formula - 1 year ago
  • A: You may find increased fussiness but fed is best !

submitted byAlexa - 7 months ago
  • A: Use the HotStock app to get notifications and keep an eye on shipping it to you from Target. That’s how I have been keeping on top of it. As soon as you get a notification it’s available for delivery add it to your cart and check out. You can get two at a time. This is how I’ve been able to keep up.

submitted byChristina - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi and thanks for the great question. We can help you find the best option for your family. Yes, we recommend trying Kendamil Organic or Kendamil Classic. Like all of our formulas, they are both European-made with whole milk fats - each formulated to a whey:casein ratio to closely mimic that of breast milk. Plus, all of our recipes include our unique prebiotic blend of HMOs and GOS, with the addition of FOS in our Classic formula, and EU levels of plant-based DHA and ARA.

Q: Has anyone had problems with constipation in their baby? I started giving this milk to my baby from his first week of life, he was assimilating it well but pooping once a day and it is difficult for him to poop.

submitted by Aye - 1 year ago
  • A: Add a probiotic like biogaia

submitted byAlexa - 7 months ago
  • A: This is normal for formula fed babies.

submitted byBabelfish - 1 year ago
  • A: Try adding a little organic blackstrap molasses to his bottles

submitted byRastaMama - 1 year ago
  • A: We always advise parents to consult with their child's pediatrician or healthcare professional before switching baby milk or introducing formula for the first time, particularly if their baby has feeding issues. If you decide to switch, it may take a little while for your baby to adjust entirely to new baby milk. We generally recommend a transition period of 7 - 14 days, during which you can gradually introduce the new formula.

Q: We are on day 5 of feeding Kendamil goat, and our 4.5-month-old has gotten worse every night, waking an hour after bed and screaming inconsolably for hours. Do we need to switch again? Every formula is the same to the pediatrician.

submitted by cr202 - 2 years ago
  • A: The screaming is bc of the “well visits”….. not the formula.

submitted byJac - 1 year ago
  • A: Hey new mom here to a 2 month old. We also experienced this for a few days and had to get gas relief drops for her to take a couple feedings a day. Don’t know if you tried that yet but would recommend.

submitted byKD - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi Cr202, We generally recommend a transition period of 7-14 days to allow your baby’s digestive system to completely adjust to a new formula, even if you are simply moving to another stage of the same formula brand. Gas, constipation, and fussiness are fairly common reactions to a new formula. Because of this, we recommend introducing the new formula gradually by slowly swapping bottles of the current or “old” formula with Kendamil, starting with the midday feeds first and not the feeds before bed. It can be a good idea to slowly introduce new formulas to allow for their tummy to adjust. We do recommend speaking to your healthcare professional before making any changes to your little one’s diet that you are concerned about.

Q: Is there a way to adjust the toddler goat milk formula to make it acceptable for a 5 month old? It is the only formula he will eat and it is constantly out of stock in the infant variety!

submitted by Hungry infant - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi Hungry Infant and thanks for the question. We would not recommend giving our Toddler milk to your little one if they are under 12 months old, as the nutrients in it are specially formulated for that age group. Please reach out to our team at enquiries@kendamil.com so we can provide some individual suggestions for you and your baby, based on their needs. Hope this helps!

Q: Hello , can the water be boiled via microwave for easy connivence for the teachers at daycare when they watch my 5 month old baby ?

submitted by May - 11 months ago
  • A: Hi May, thanks for the great question! We don’t recommend using a microwave to boil water for formula preparation as it can heat unevenly, create hot spots, and may not bring water to a proper rolling boil, which is important for safety. We advise following NHS guidance, which recommends using freshly boiled water (cooled no lower than 70°C/158°F) when preparing formula feeds. Various guidance here (NHS/WHO/FDA) suggests all feeds should: be used within 1 hour from the start of feeding, be used within 2 hours from preparation, and be used within 24 hours if cooled immediately and placed in the back of the fridge. We recommend preparing each feed fresh and on-demand as that is best practice and as per advised by the NHS. However, in any instance where this is not possible, where you need to transport a feed (for example, to a nursery), prepare the feed at home, cool under a running tap or in a bowl of cold water, and cool it for at least 1 hour in the back of the fridge. Take it out of the fridge just before you leave and carry it in a cool bag with an ice pack, and use it within 4 hours. If you do not have an ice pack, or access to a fridge, the made-up infant formula must be used within 2 hours. Let us know if you have any other questions - we’re always happy to help!

Q: Does Kendamil Organic help to lessen the eczema?

submitted by Rose - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Rose, Whilst we know our products inside and out as all babies are different and there are a number of factors that could trigger eczema in a child we would always recommend speaking with your GP or healthcare professional for advice on treating this condition in your little one.

Q: The UK goat infant formula (0-6 months) has 0.7mg of iron, while the US formula (0-12 months) has 1.1mg of iron. Is that too much for my 2 month old? Should I purchase the UK version?

submitted by T - 1 year ago
  • A: The UK version is 0.7mg of iron per 100mL. While the US version is 1.1mg per 5 US fl oz. Converting the US version to mL would be approximately 1.1mg per 147.868mL. Being that the UK version’s ratio is 0.007mg/mL, we can then multiply by 147.868mL to obtain the amount of iron in mg. 0.007mg/mL * 147.868mL = 1.0351 mg or ~1.04mg. Seems there’s only a 0.06mg difference.

    submitted byUser1037 - 1 year ago
  • A: All of our formulas are fortified with iron and always have been as it is required to meet the growing needs of all infants. In the US the FDA requirement is that infant formula, regardless of manufacturer, should contain a minimum of 1mg per 100kcals and our Infant Goat meets this requirement at 1.1mg. I can assure you this is not 'too much', if you have any concerns please contact your pediatrician. Hope this helps!

Q: Which baby Brezza advanced pro setting for the 0-12 goats milk formula??

  • A: Setting 4. Fill in all the questions and it will tell you for any formula https://babybrezza.com/pages/formula-pro-global-settings-finder

  • A: We always advise parents to follow the NHS gold standard when it comes to bottle making. They advise that you should prepare each bottle with freshly boiled water, following the directions on the can, right before feeding. For guidance regarding Baby Brezza or any other prep machines we suggest you speak directly with the manufacturer. Hope this helps!

Q: Can you refrigerate the goats milk?

submitted by LYNETTE - 2 years ago
  • A: We always advise parents to follow the NHS (National Health Service) gold standard when it comes to bottle making. They advise that you should prepare each bottle with freshly boiled water, following the directions on the can, right before feeding. Once your little one has fed from a bottle any remaining formula needs to be discarded if not consumed within 1 hour. If you are preparing your bottles in advance for storage at home the NHS advise the following - in a fridge – use within 24 hours, in a cool bag with an ice pack – use within 4 hours, at room temperature – use within 2 hours. If you have further questions please reach out to our team of parents at enquiries@kendamil.com .

Honestly. I tried my daughter on ever milk out there . Every night was a constant battle . Either she was bringing it all back up . Or it was leaving her constantly constipated. Ended up switching her to kendamil goat about two months ago . And its made such a huge difference. My baby girl is finally happy . Keeping the milk down . She loves it . Honestly blessed that kendamil done what other milks couldn't do . And that was giving me a baby girl who's content happy and full of giggles

    Good but needs some changers

Good formula. I didn’t quite enjoy the lid not always being placed on the same spot. Having to turn the whole pot around so I can spoon formula in, always annoying. Not handy to use with one hand, especially the night feeds. Also (excuse my ignorance) how are these tins even recycled?? Where are you meant to dispose them?

    Kendamil Goat - 11/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started combi feeding my little girl at 8 weeks old and choosing Kendamil's First Infant Goat formula was the best decision I made. As a first time mum I heard lots of advice, and read that goats milk/formula is the closest to breast milk and my little girl loved it! She has grown so beautifully, as she is now 10 months old today. I was really reluctant to combi feed, however choosing Kendamil Goats was the best option for her, and id choose it again in a heartbeat! I'd highly recommend it, it was gentle on my little girl's tummy, she has no gas or or colic or reflux issues with this milk or in general, & she still drinks her Kendamil Goats formula night and day! Will definitely be coming back as a returning customer for baby no. 2 and so on!

From a mommy who was scared to try it-try it! Your baby will love it!

As a mom who strictly breastfed then had to quickly transition to a formula. We tried a lot of different formulas. All of them our son would throw up after or become constipated so we tried this one. Goat milk is one of the closest to breastmilk so it is gentle on a babies belly. Our son has been using this for about 3 months now and he has not been constipated or had a hard time having a BM. He almost never has gas or spits up. We waited three weeks going back and forth over whether or not to try it. Don’t wait, give it a shot.

We combo feed and were a Bobbie family with my other toddler. However it was causing my infant gas and constipation. Tried this and it’s so gentle on her tummy now. Mixing is much easier as the formula consistency doesn’t cause bubbles. Seemed like it was like breastmilk. So far we are liking it!

My baby LOVES Kendamil Goat infant formula, you can literally see the difference between Kendamil and the other formulas. It is so smooth and doesn’t create air bubbles that get into the belly and cause discomfort.

Hi Samantha, we are so happy to be able to support you and your little one on your feeding journey. We are incredibly proud of our British heritage, our farming supply chain and that absolutely no Kendamil products contain palm oil, fish oil, or GMOs! Rest assured our team will continue to work hard to give all of our families and little ones more of that goodness.

    No more constipation!

We love this formula in our home. Our baby struggled with constipation after switching from breastmilk to formula, which led to urgent care visits and a lot of trial and error. We started with Kendamil Classic—she loved the taste—but it caused significant constipation. We then switched to goat milk formula since it’s often gentler on little stomachs, and we saw a noticeable improvement. Definitely worth the higher price for us!
