Shiny Stripes

I was looking for a neutral area rug. The picture online looks great, but the individual colors in the rug go from muted to shiny depending upon which way you smooth the nap; a little disconcerting. Reminds me a little of Las Vegas decor. One plus for the rug is that it is very soft. I will keep it only because of the hassle of repackaging for return.
