A: HI HSD! When transitioning from one formula to another, it is not unusual for a child to have a period of up to a week or a bit more than a week. The ingredients may be different and a child’s gastrointestinal tract needs a period of adjustment to digesting these different ingredients. Stool patterns such as frequency, color, odor and consistency may be different as your child adjusts to the new formula. We recommend speaking to your child’s healthcare professional on any concerns you may have regarding symptoms your child may experience on the different formulas.
